44mm Protective Case for Apple Watch Series 6/SE/5/4, Silver

I recently got the new Apple Watch 7 (41mm). I went with the Starlight Aluminum because, let’s be honest, it’s a crazy expensive watch — I simply couldn’t justify spending several hundred *more* on the Stainless Steel model. Still, I really didn’t care for the look of the aluminum case... Enter: Amazon. I bought 2 different covers for my watch in the hopes of finding something that could approximate the look of Stainless Steel. This one is the winner for sure! About “easy to install” — I would NOT say that this cover is super easy to install. It’s a snug fit! I have nimble little fingers and it still took me a few minutes to coax my watch into this case. I’m really glad I like it because I’m positive that removing the cover will be a HUGE pain in the @$$. People with larger fingers or any trouble with dexterity will probably have difficulty installing this cover. PROS: — It’s nice and shiny & [in my opinion] looks a lot better than the Starlight Aluminum Apple Watch case. As you can see from the photo I included with this review, the other cover that I bought (which *looked* very nice in the listing) is crap for multiple reasons. — The additional height added by this cover does not affect the touch screen at all; I am able to swipe down or up to activate those menu screens with no problem. — Haptics and sounds are not affected by this cover either; all of my notifications are coming through just fine. — The material this cover is made from doesn’t look like it will show scratches. [I only received & installed this cover today (December 8, 2021), so I will revise this review if necessary. But, at less than $10, I’d probably just buy another one if it does scratch.] CONS: — Using the Digital Crown is a bit more difficult with this cover installed. It still works, but access to the Digital Crown is definitely limited by this cover. I would like the cutout for the Crown to be tapered or even slightly larger. I’ll try to adjust the cover in hopes I can achieve a better fit. CONCLUSION: If I am able to improve access to the Digital Crown by adjusting the position of the cover, I am going to update this review & give this product FIVE STARS. Even if this is as good as it gets for the Digital Crown, for me, the PROS outweigh the CONS by a LOT! ***UPDATE*** I’ve had this cover has been on my watch for over 7 months now & I have to say — This thing really deserves 5 Stars! After all of this wear time, this cover still looks brand new! I obviously haven’t taken sandpaper to it, but I certainly haven’t been gentle on it either — not a scratch! With a bit of wear time & proper adjustments, I no longer have (or, at any rate, notice) any difficulty using the Digital Crown. Also, I mentioned in my original review that I thought I would have trouble removing the cover from my Watch. I have had occasion to remove and replace the cover several times now. It is MUCH easier than I expected!

Color and quality are nice. Order more than one if you are someone that is active and tends to bump your watch or arm against things frequently. It can handle minor to medium hits on soft to or smooth surfaces. It will get scratches on sharp and coarse surfaces but overall the chrome paint damage isn’t too noticeable which is impressive. I figured it wouldn’t last long or I’d need to buy replacements but as I said the damage isn’t bad enough yet to take away from the overall look of the watch. It’s a little difficult to put on but it’s way better than some of the others I have purchased. I have a aluminum one that attaches on the top of the watch but pops off when hit at an angle or upward direction so that design is pretty and very durable but annoying when you pick it up a few times a day. Other bumpers clamp on over the sides and are plastic which is nice and hold on better than the aluminum clip on. That one is decent but feels cheaper and could break or pop off with a decent hit or if it catches an edge of something. Hope this helps. I bought various attachment bumpers and this one is better design overall despite being slightly difficult to install.

I have owned this for 3 days, so this review is solely based on my initial assessment. If it does not hold up over time, I will update my review; however, if there are no problems I will not update. I purchased this product for three reasons: 1) Protect my Apple Watch 4 (40mm) 2) Compliment my watch bands that have a chrome finish 3) Hide the cheap looking aluminum watch frame This bumper is THICK and takes some manhandling to get it on and off the watch. It adds quite a bit of bulk and ultimately turned my small 40mm watch into a 44mm watch because it literally adds 1mm of thickness all the way around. It also dwarfs many of my watch bands making them look awkwardly small in relation to the watch, so it doesn't quite compliment my more feminine bands. It also makes my watch fit a little tighter than it fit without the bumper. It does appear that it will protect well and it works with a vinyl screen protector. It does not obstruct or interfere with my overall ability to use my watch. It is snug and not quite centered around the crown (the round dial in the right side) but it does not make it difficult to use. I appreciate this product for what it is and so far, it is the best all-around Apple Watch cover, bumper, etc, that I've tried. I just wish it was a tad thinner.

Gives the watch a nice makeover and it’s great quality, too. I like how the top edge rises just above the face to better protect the surface - just like a TPU cell phone case. The buttons all still work perfectly on the watch and the wheel still turns fine. There has been no problem swapping out bands. It doesn’t look cheap, either - it looks like polished stainless. I bought two in the event that it does begin to scratch. It could be a little less bulky, but all I have to do is imagine how bulky it would be on the 42mm watch and I’m over it.

Does not fit watch at all. Horrible. Just threw away

It does the job but the plastic bowed outwards around the watch face and it’s a little too shiny. For these reasons it looks more like plastic than metal in real life.

I love how easy it is to put on my watch. In seconds I've given my watch a whole new look. No need to remove the band the cover slips over easily and stays in place until you're ready to remove it. I bought it to change the color of my watch but it also provides extra protection against scratches at the same time. I love it so much I bought a set as a gift. Great product!

it is not compatible with apple watch 5 so i return back it more than one month but still they dint back the money. just i want to know can we use that money to buy other things?
