I’m writing this review after about a week and half of using the supplement. I decided to try a bottle after talking to some friends, who work in the supplement nutrition space. For reference, I only take whey protein and curcumin supplements and I have a healthy diet with only occasional added sugars and alcohol. The first night, I did notice the effect. It does make your body feel relaxed. The closest I can compare it to, is that one hour after taking the supplement, my body feels similar to what my body feels after I meditate. I noticed the effects when I took 1 Tablespoon every other night, and not on consecutive nights. I also have noticed that I have not had delayed onset muscle soreness since I have been taking the liquid magnesium. I work out 5x a week, high intensity training and weigh lifting.

I've been taking Upgraded Magnesium for about a month now, and needless to say I'll definitely be putting in another order once this bottle runs out. The first thing I noticed was a huge uptick in my quality of sleep. I had been taking Melatonin for the past few months but still wasn't able to find a good sleep rhythm. After about a week of taking Upgraded Magnesium, I noticed that I was diving into a much deeper, long-lasting sleep, without waking up in the middle of the night as I had before. When waking up I feel extremely well-rested and feel a general sense of calm that I hadn't felt before. During the day I feel more alert and ready for any task at hand, which has helped my quality of work, as well. Very happy with this product -- absolutely earns 5 stars in my opinion.

First off cramping in any part of the body is due to magnesium and potassium deficiency. Try it for several weeks and double or triple the dose if needed in the evening before bed or add to water and sip through out the day or whenever the cramping starts.

Does it work? You bet. Noticeable relaxation and improved sleep. The only negative, if only minor, is the taste. Because it doesn’t have any flavoring agents added, which is a good thing, it taste like coconut water with a slight twist. I usually mix it with my tea or sugar free beverage at night but do wish it came in other flavors, for those of us who aren’t purist. Otherwise great product.
