Quality Violin Case
This violin case is made of very high quality workmanship. It has plenty of storage space for music and is a perfect fit for my full size violin. This is the second protec case I have purchased through Amazon. Also, the case is about fifty dollars cheaper than the protec website. I am very happy!

Meets the needs of this semi-professional violinist
I bought this exact case at a local music store. It is very sturdy so far. I walk 2 miles roundtrip to orchestra rehearsal and back, and it has survived rain and heavy, wet snow without issue. It's heavier than some of the more expensive cases, but still not bad. The shoulder pad that comes with it is very soft and comfortable, but it gets uncomfortable very quickly. I'm contemplating buying the backpack style shoulder straps. The clasps for the bow are very shallow. I was unable to actually insert my bow because of the depth of the top side and the shallow clasp area because one cannot bend their bow. The store constructed a deeper clasp and it's better now, but it's still very difficult to gently slide your bow into any of the clasps. The violin hold is great. There's an extra velcro strap to put your shoulder rest instead of having to stuff it in the one pocket. The violin rest is sturdy and soft, and it's not too snug. My violin looks very comfy in there! There larger pocket on the outside/top is very tight. There's no give. I can fit some pencils and sheet music, but if I put my thin eyeglass case in there, it barely zips shut. There's also a sheetmusic sized pocket on the bottom/inside (the side that is on the ground when you open it). It's the exact size of a sheet of paper, so you're outta luck if you have an original print that's longer than normal paper. And it's also snug, so you can't fit too much. I have maybe 20 sheets and sometimes the papers get stuck in the zipper.I like that the bottom is heavy enough so that when I open the case with my bow and other things in the outer/top pocket, it doesn't tip backwards. This used to happen all the time with the even cheaper old case I had. As soon as I remove my violin, the whole thing would tip. Not so with this one!Overall, one of the better cases I've had, but I know that if I had spent more money, I could've had a better case. This works well for the trained violinist who isn't a professional musician.

Great violin case!
This case is sturdy and roomy. The two pockets accommodate lesson books and sheet music very well. There is ample space for the violin, shoulder rest and a compartment for other accessories. This cae has it all

Fragile case, cheap interior, great exterior material and zipper
The interior was exceptionally cheaply made. The materials were different from any other case I'd ever seen and didn't seem "nice" in any way. The wood did not seem sturdy enough to protect the violin from anything other than light use. We purchased it and returned it right away. The reason we bought it was because the exterior material and zippers and other hardware were very sturdy. We mistakenly thought that if the outside was so well-made, the strength and quality of the interior would be good, too. We were wrong.
