Try before you use.
The catcher did not close properly so could not hold the queen safely.After spending some time with long nosed pliers, I managed to adjust it enough to use.I painted parts with yellow and white queen marker so that it could easily be found when catching bee swarms.

An exceptionally poor piece of rubbish. Flimsy, badly made and totally unfit for purpose. This clip wouldn’t hold any queen safely as it won’t even close up far enough leaving a big gap between the jaws. Shouldn’t be on sale at all. Not worth the fuss to return.
