As a part-time car fixist this offers everything you need and nothing you dont. The 6 sided sockets are a big improvement over the standard multi-tooth variety. The ratchet is sturdy (quite heavy though) and a decent length with a comfortable grip. My old socket set was just getting a bit ‘baggy’ & as I’ve collected a number of sockets over the years that’ll work with this its a good start to building up a nice set.

For not alot of money and a name you'll all probably know this draper half inch drive set is perfect for bottom of anyone's tool box for everyday or occasional use. Great weight, feels well built, all the sockets I think I'll need for use in my motorbike. Neat push button release for sockets and a handy extension. The tidy rack packing it comes in fits in bottom of box and keeps everything together . Time will obviously tell if really worth it but with other options out there, the price and name brand is a simple choice over the others. Recommended.

For the price you would hard pushed to find a better socket set. Good quality for everyday use. Handy to keep in the car/van for emergency use too.

Good solid tools, should handle most mechanical uses.Very good value for the price.

Little to say other than I've used Draper for years DIY and always found they're great value for money. Not sure how they'd stand up to everyday "professional" use, but for me they're usually first choice. I particularly like the socket sets, the ratchets have a nice feel to them and the sockets are sound.
