as tiny as this wire is, there are at least 6 strands of wire that are pre-tinned to solder. I needed this wire for my very old night light solar panels that are all single stranded wires back to the rechargeable batteries pc board. Excellent quality, very thin wire. Silicone insulation strips with your thumbnail. Be aware: these are individual strands of red and black wire; they are NOT paired (like zip-cord).

This is pretty impressive wire, seems top quality. The silicone insulation is exceptionally flexible, proving to be super easy to work with and solders easily. Works really well in tight spaces, creating a huge spectrum for custom applications, limited only by the imagination.

I've tried a few types of 30awg wire and most are a pain to work with. This wire is so easy to strip, very flexible, solders great, doesnt melt when soldering, just all around excellent quality wire!

This wire is very soft feeling. It's really easy to strip with your finger nails. But when you solder, the insulation doesn't burn at all. Perfect for small projects.

Easy to run

They are not. So the wire is good for HO locos to wire trucks or for other types of wiring but not any good to use for a power pack to test a loco to see if it runs. I used other wire I had.

Purpose was to add to a garage door (marantec 270) receiver module because the range was terrible! Couldnt read from my remotes or my car homelink systems. Practically made having an automated garage door useless. The module only has 5 inches of 26-30 gauge wire to pickup the 315mhz RF. Added ten feet to it with this and brought it out my front garage door with exposure to outside above my metal garage door. Now all my remotes work flawlessly and my homelink system on my car opens the garage door every time.

Used for putting very small circuits inside n gauge trains. Wire is very flexible and allows bogies to turn fine despite having this soldered to pickups....just what I needed...no more copper transformer wire for me!

It came in proper time and quality as described. I recommend it!

Credevo fosse leggermente meno sottile e mi aspettavo che l'interno non fosse con più fili di rame ma un unico filo un po' più rigido. Comunque accettabile. Alberto
