Athena Kaftan Women Long Sleeve Chiffon Maxi Dress Formal Gown Evening Dress

I bought this as a gift for my mother-in-law and it was absolutely wonderful. The beating of the gold around the neck and chest area is breathtaking. The sleeves are long and loose but with a bottom layer that hangs tight to the sleeve where the arms do not show. My mother-in-law is about 5’5” and the gown fit her perfectly. It has a loose bottom which makes a flawless hourglass look without being form fitted. Definitely recommend for anyone who wants to wear this to a party evening dinner or special occasion.

This is a one size fits all item. I absolutely LOVE this dress. I am 5'2" tall, size 12, and I'm 190 lbs. This dress looks great on me... It's a tad big but doesn't look big when it's on me. This dress could probably fit me even if I were an extra 30-40 pounds heavier. The dress is about 5" longer than my height. I just put on some super tall heels... Problem solved.I look like a goddess in this dress and I was the star of the event. While everyone work red carpet sexy dresses... My dress was the most sexiest without showing any skin! Trust me... It's gorgeous! This dress flows like you're on a cloud. Just put on some gold strappy shoes, and a gold clutch and lovely gold earrings... Then BAM!!!! You're a goddess!The color is accurate to a T. The chiffon is quality, and it's got some good weight to it too.

This dress is so much more beautiful in person. The embellishment is exquisite! ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL! The sleeves are a little long but manageable as is the collar which was a little big but totally unnoticeable. I choose the shorter length and wore 3"+ heels and it was perfect. The inside ties really made the dress for me and really made we look 10lbs lighter🤣 My husband and I received so many compliments at our celebration. We felt like royalty!

I purchased this last minute to wear while 8 months pregnant for my nieces “henna” party. It was really pretty in person and looked cute as a maternity dress. I’m 5’6” and wore low sandals and the length was fine but probably would’ve been longer if I wasn’t pregnant. Overall I would purchase again and hope to wear it once I deliver for another occasion

I got this in coral - and if anyone else saw the review that just said 'the color is like a highlighter' and wondered what color she ordered, it was probably this one. It looks like orange highlighter and pink highlighter layered. It is MUCH more neon than it appeared on my screen - I would have preferred the more rosy-pinky coral that it looked like on my monitor, but I can work with bright, it's not a dealbreaker for me. I am going to have to re-think the hijab I thought I was going to wear though.I should say that I have a multi-day wedding to attend and also ordered the Menal kaftan - and tbh I really do prefer that one. If you're busty, the yoke on this one is more likely to make you look top-heavy (in my experience) just from the style. The beaded yoke continues around the back, but not the full diameter of it - the little turtleneck-y part and then about one more inch of it. (I was wondering before it came, bc you can't really see the back in the pictures). The back has a zipper (Menal doesn't) which is good but you really need someone to zip you up - I got the chiffon stuck in the zipper and the hook at the top of the neck constantly got caught in my hair as I took it on and off. That was pretty annoying - but you do need the zipper and hook and eye for this style.The yoke also feels heavier to me than the Menal, and I'm not sure why, maybe bc it's all concentrated towards the top?It seems shorter than the Menal - that one, it's slightly TOO long unless I want to wear heels (which I do NOT). This one is just right. I'm 5'7" for reference.Honestly? If I didn't have two back to back days of wedding to attend and pressure to wear two DIFFERENT fancy dresses, and white, black and red/maroon weren't ruled out as possible colors culturally, I would probably return this one and keep the Menal one which I really liked. But I definitely need two different fancy things to wear, and this is good enough, so I will keep it.edit: I ended up deciding I have to return this as the color is just too bright for the event I'm attending. If I ever need another fancy dress and black or red is appropriate for that future event, I would purchase this style again. But the Menal style's still my favorite!edit again: So, the bride is now wearing blingy maroon at one night of the wedding and we decided I can wear this after all, so I cancelled my return. Don't judge me for being indecisive. I still like Menal better, but this one is nice too.

Order it. It’s heavy. It’s beautiful. You will feel like a queen. Lots of compliments. No regrets. Adorn yourself with this magnificent piece of artwork. I’m curvy. I am 220lbs and 5”3”. My normal size is 18/20. This fit me without any issues. I love it.

Quality is good and beading is great. The tie allows you to adjust the width, so as long as you are not xxl or larger you should not have a problem with the fit. I'm on the shorter side of the height chart, so it is long on me and will need to wear some really tall heals or have it shortened. I ordered it in Maroon, but that was misleading as it is more of a rose red than dark maroon.

OMG, I loved this dress. I had a birthday dinner at a Moroccan restaurant and I wanted everyone to dress up in Moroccan attire. The dress was beautiful, I felt like a goddess or queen in it. It’s a very long dress but I am only 5’6” but it flows delicately. When I step in the restaurant so many eyes were on me, and I even received a compliment from the waiter. He even asked where did we receive our dresses from, Morocco? I will definitely have this dress for when I visit Morocco one day. Thanks for the experience I received from wearing this elegant dress.
