Great mount for GoPro. Velcro attaches around the shoulder strap of your backpack. Very reliable as long as there is something to stop it sliding right down the strap. My backpack has a chest strap so it's perfect for this mount. The GoPro end of it allows rotation in the plane of the front of the mount and also tilting from the knuckle. It does not, however, allow you to adjust the camera in the panorama i.e. to point to the centreor edge of the road, so you rely on your backpack being adjusted correctly. The GoPro has a very wide field of view anyway which to solve extent negates this alignment requirement.I definitely recommend this product.

I use this mount with my courier backpack while cycling because I got frustrated with constantly wearing a chest mount. it took a little while to figure out the best position, but now that I found it the video is pretty stable at a nice neutral angle. As mentioned by another review this mount is best suited to backpacks with wide straps. My problem with this mount has been the 360 degree rotation swivel. It has come loose and no matter how much I re-tighten the screw it always comes loose again, therefore not holding the correct position. I have duct taped it into the position I want but this is worth considering if you plan to use this mount at different angles.

I really liked this mount, it is lightweight and most of all it holds in position well, it can be a bit tricky to get the go pro in the right angled position , but it’s doable, and with the 7 black’s Smooth recording it makes great videos, great for when you need your hands!I would recommend this product.

Quite well made, very simple design, but rather over-priced for what it is, but couldn’t find an alternative. Fixing for the camera is solid and with enough friction on the rotating plate to stop camera twisting. My main issue is Velcro fitting that wraps around the backpack strap. The backing of the mount is a flexible textured plastic material which is not really that ’grippy’ or non-slip. To stop the strap sliding down you have to put the mount in really tightly, on my bag this left an area of the Velcro pad no longer in contact with the opposite matching piece of Velcro and a flappy bit sticking out which catches on your clothes. My bag is a Manfrotto advanced medium backpack and the strap width is 60mm wide and 15mm thick, it works OK, but it’s not perfect. I would not recommend for a thinner strap, which I have tried, it does not work very well, you can’t fit it that tightly, the Velcro does not make enough contact with each opposing Velcro pad and the flappy bit of the strap is even ‘flappier’.Would be ok on a thicker/ wider strap. A more rubberised backing and a broader area of Velcro to allow a wide rage of adjustment would be a great improvement. I guess it’s an OK product, hence the middle of the range rating. Not sure there’s an alternative. Check your strap thickness before buying.

All in all, this is a nice sturdy mount. A good strong sprung clip helps to keep it attached to my backpack strap.
