This is amazing, smells clean and fresh, other reviews says it's thick and hard to spread, it is not! It's like a regular lotion, not oily or greasy. I put this on a 3 month old tat and it looks so fresh and new, the colors pop more than with lotion. Aquaphor makes your skin really greasy, this doesn't, it doesn't transfer onto your clothes and it feels smooth and clean, I will be buying this again.

The ointment is very smooth and kind of sticky. If you rub it in really well and let it absorb though, the stickiness goes away completely. You don’t need a lot at all either, so this container should last a little while depending on how many tattoos you have. I usually hate lotions because I hate feeling greasy, but after a few minutes this leaves no residue and leaves tattoos looking fresh and skin feeling soft. The tattoo pictured is 3 years old—I tested it on half of the sunflower to see if I could tell a difference. Photo was taken around 5-7 minutes after the first use.

I am currently using this awesome aftercare product to heal a FULL arm sleeve. I tried Aquaphor initially like most people recommend but I just hated the super greasy film it left plus the petroleum nature of the product turned me off. So I started looking elsewhere. I ended up using this product and Ora's Amazing Tattoo Salve which I also wrote a review for. Let's get down to it...I've used this product both on a healed portion of my sleeve and fresh ink. In both instances I had zero issues, no irritation/allergic reaction, etc. that a few users have posted about. PROS - The smell is obviously something that everyone consistently talks about and with good reason. The product has a very soft mango smell with a hint of vanilla (at least to me). It's not overbearingly sweet like something you would get at Bath & Bodyworks. Subtle but you definitely smell it on yourself and others who are close enough will as well. The scent is 5 stars in my book. Unless you're not into fruity scents I can't see anyone being turned off by the scent. - The consistency is really depends on the room temperature. It's actually like a shea/coco butter. Solid at cooler temperatures and more soft pliable in warmer temperatures. Regardless the application is super easy. I usually take very small dab of it on my finger and 'dot' my arm with spots of the product from wrist to shoulder. My body temperature warms the product pretty quickly and I than smooth it all over my arm where the consistency turns to basically a lotion type feel. A little bit goes a long way and if you get a full size tub it should last you a VERY LONG time! Even if you are constantly getting inked with big pieces one tub goes such a LONG way. The bang for your buck is definitely there. Even if you continue to use it as a daily moisturizer you should be able to go MONTHS with daily use. - As I stated before I had zero issues with irritation or an allergic effect. There are people with Mango allergies, yes it's a real thing. But for me I had no such issues. Having used it both on fresh ink and healed ink it has absolutely kept the itching to a minimum as well as the shedding/peeling. I usually apply a decent layer of the product on and then wipe off the excess with a paper towel. This has helped keep my arm moisturized for HOURS. I could probably keep my arm moisturized the ENTIRE day with two applications at most. CONS - I honestly can't think of none on my part as the healing process has been super easy to date. This product smells great, does what it says it does, the cost per usage is well worth the price, and is easy to apply. Having used Ora's Amazing Tattoo salve I have to say they are BOTH 5 star products. I give the edge to this product mainly for two reasons: 1. The smell of Hustle Butter is too damn good. I want to spread it on a bagel and eat that [email protected] maybe make a glaze for a cake...Ora's has an herbal citrus smell which I also like and don't mind but Mango's win this one. 2. Ora's comes in small jars. The product does go a very long ways too just like HB. However, with a full sleeve I ran through a small jar pretty quickly healing about 8-9 hours session worth of work over a few weeks. I've barely dented the HB container...With that said though if you are getting small pieces done a small jar of Ora's will last you a LONG time as well. Nothing bad to say about that product as well. If anyone finds a way to make an edible Hustle Butter spread comment below...

A little goes a long way with this product. It's very thick, but after it warms up to the skin it soaks in for moisture that lasts far beyond the end of the day. My skin is smooth, soft, and the tattoos look better because of it. Made the colors pop. I would purchase this even if I didn't have tattoos. Overall 10/10. Scent is mild (not what I expected) but I've grown to love it.

The ointment is great. Smells pretty good. Doesn't leave your skin with the oily feel. A little bit does oread out plenty. Adds a little more life to the tattoos, more so those with color. Used it on a fresh tattoo and helped it heal pretty fast compared to previous ones. I'll definitely buy some more

I really wanted to like this tattoo balm but I found it to be to hard for my liking. I thought it would be a creamer balm but it was very hard and not easy to get out of the container or spread onto the skin. It did soften the skin and wasn't sticky and stayed on really well. It was just the firmness of the balm that I didn't like it had a pleasant smell and once softened up on your skin it went on okay. It is an okay value for the money but if your looking for something not on the hard size I would try another brand or go with something a little higher in price to get what your really looking for or like.

I have A lot of tattoos and have used more expensive products, and this is by far my favorite tattoo cream I've ever purchased. I can't believe how inexpensive this is. This is going on my auto purchases. Been using it for almost 2 months now, so I could offer a real and honest review.

This product is amazing! The jar is small but a little goes a long way. The texture is kind of gummy but it really deep conditions fresh tattoos and livens old ones. I’ve tried several other products but so far this is my fave. I definitely recommend it.

Sehr gute Tattoo-Creme. Artikel genau so wie beschrieben und von anderen Rezensenten empfohlen. Lässt sich super auftragen, feste cremige Konsistenz mit angenehmen Duft und höchster Qualität für eine geschmeidige, gepflegte Haut. Pflegt und schützt wie eine Feuchtigkeitssalbe mit Panthenol. Die Tattoos wirken ausdrucksstärker! Klare Empfehlung.

Habe mir diese Creme für mein bestehendes, sowie damals neu gestochenes tattoo geholt. Sie ist leicht an zu wenden, dabei anfangs etwas sticky, aber sobald man etwas fester reiben kann ( nach neu Stich ggf nicht machen sondern mehr verwenden) lässt sie sich gut verteilen. Sie zieht schnell ein und lässt einen angenehm riechenden, leichteren Fettfilm, der mit der Zeit einzieht übrig. Vor dem Schlafen gehen, würde ich ~10min einplanen sonst, abhängig von der Körperstelle, bei mir der Arm zieht man den leichten Film schnell an Kissen oder Decke ab. Im Vergleich mit anderen Herstellern steht die Creme nichts nach. Da gibt es deutlich fettendere Präparate. Mir gefällt die Dose in der es angeliefert wird da man so quasi mit 0 Rest nicht erst wie bei Tuben diese aufschneiden muß. Zudem man nach dem verschrauben des deckels 100% Sicher sein kann, das nichts auf geht und ausläuft. 1 Stern Abzug wegen der etwas anstrengenden verreibbarkeit, vor allem Bei größeren Tattooflächen.

Von der Konsistenz ziemlich zäh. Stell ich mir auf frisch tätowierter Haut schwierig vor. Pflegend.. okay.. nix Außergewöhnliches. Geruch:Geschmackssache. Ich kaufe es nicht noch einmal.
