*Actually* XW, Actually Tough...and Stylish
2nd pair of 11XW for my very active teenage son. The pics compare shoes after 2 years of use. He's used these shoes for everything from outdoor work (climbing ladders, roofing, gardening, yard work) to outdoor sports (hiking, running - yes, running - idk, mountain biking) to going out to weddings or nicer things.Things he likes about these shoes:- They are ACTUALLY XW, as in wider in the toes, kind of like a foot-shaped style shoe (we have tried and returned several boots that are not actually XW, bc they pinch in the toes)-They are instantly comfortable- You can wear them for anything- They look good (per him, not "goofy" like some foot-shaped shoe company styles)What I've noticed:- These things LAST. Usually mountain bike pedals tear up shoes, but these...the tread and stiching don't look like they've seen the constant rough stuff they've seen. From work to play to more professional things - they last longer than other shoes. I'm impressed bc this guy is not easy on shoes. We had to get a new pair bc the soles finally started coming unglued after 2+ (2.5?) years of hard wear. Great boot!

Great lightweight boots
I originally bought a pair of these boots for my husband as "dress boots". He's a contractor (not the kind that sits in his truck all day, he runs the company, so he's hands on every day from frame to finish), so these were the closest to dressy that I knew he'd wear. He liked them so much, he started wearing them every time he didn't need a steel toe or insulated boot, since they're so light and comfortable. The old pair in the pics was purchased probably 6yrs ago and is just now starting to get holes. He has several other pairs of newer $200-300+ boots and was still choosing the old beat up pair of these whenever possible, so I stopped trying to replace them with "nicer" boots and just bought another pair. They've held up better than some of the more expensive ones, plus he says they're super comfortable and I think they look nice. I'd take a man in work boots over dress shoes any day. I did use boot wax on them to help make them waterproof, but I do that with all of his boots.

Good value boots
I bought these for doing yard work. Really comfortable, good structure and support and they are holding up well so far after 2 months of beating on them.

One size too large
The boots are great, especially for the money. They seem to be a real leather. I'm not sure if they are full grain. It does scratch really easy but it doesnt affect the quality or the looks, it's just the way they're finished. They're fully lined and the insole is fairly comfortable. I would suggest putting a better insole in. I like the boots. They are really wide in the toe. Plenty of toe room but it might affect the size you need to order. They are a casual, light weight hiker, somewhere between a sneaker and a boot. Just what I was looking for. Only one problem, they are a full size larger than I wear in all my other boots. I ordered these in my regular size of 12 and they were way too big. I sent them back and I ordered an 11.5 and they were still at least a half size too large. I can tell by looking down at my feet that they are larger. It's a long issue, they're too long. The boots in the photos are the size 11.5 . I would suggest first purchasing these in a store so you can find your size. I would buy these again but in size 11 and I most definitely wear a 12. I'm keeping these and hope I get used to the way they feel but right now they're driving me crazy because they're so long.

Great boots! Buy it for life quality!
Had these for 5+ years so far, best 32$ I've ever spent. They've barely degraded despite being my most used pair. They keep my feet dry, traction's still near perfect and the leather has held up really well all things considered. Decently thick sole. Absolutely would buy again even if they somehow catastrophically failed tomorrow, because finding shoes that can last more than a few years for less than 100$ is a fools errand normally.

Great fit!
Just arrived - initial try-on: fits perfect, feels great! I have a very difficult time finding shoes to fit me properly since I have wide feet. I typically have to order a 13 4e so that the width fits right even though they’re a bit long and may slip up and down on my heel as I walk. Not these. Cushion and comfort seem to be really good too, but most all new shoes feel that way. I’ll know more in about 3 months as to the comfort and durability. This same review will be on the other pair of shoes I bought, also. That doesn’t mean this is a fake review. That mean both are exactly what I was looking for.

Not as durable as leather.
The media could not be loaded. I like the looks of this boot. It also has a great insole. If you walk on concrete you should have no problems. The boot won't last as long as the leather boot however it's well made for what it is. It also has plenty of room inside for your foot if you have a wide foot and usually have little toe room. Fact is I just need a cheap boot quick and this one turned out to be better than I thought it would be for the price. Up date: barley in a full week of wearing these. The metal eyelet came off of the top of the boot today. I'm not sure if this was a fluke or just a cheaply made eyelet. I have on the same style boot before by Skechers. These are very comfortable but not very durable.

Best boots I've ever had
Best boots I've ever bought. Loads of miles and three years later, the pair I bought are still going strong. I've bought other $200 boots to compare to these, and the sketchers take the cake. There's no point to having other boots when these are comfy, last forever, are inexpensive, and pretty nice looking.. I sound like a paid review but honestly I think I will only be these from now on.
