Herrschners Christmas Village Plastic Canvas Kit

The "crafty" recipient of this kit is thrilled with the speedy arrival and the quality of the materials. She's eager to get started on this project before the Christmas season is over.

I’ve just finished my first building and really love this set. The materials are high quality, and the instructions are easy to follow. I did buy an extra set of needles since some of the buildings have multiple colors (create a brick like pattern). It makes it easier to do one color after another on rows without having to re-thread the needle constantly.

The different buildings are not proportionate in size. The cottage is bigger than the church. These are complicated pieces to put together. Instructions are a little vague.

No lo supe armar

This might be easy for someone who has had experience with stitching, it is still somewhat confusing and hard to follow. There is a lot of counting and basically you are given a clean slate of canvas for you to do a lot of counting. I bought this to have as a family group work during Christmas so we can donate it afterwards to the shelters but no one was willing to go through the tedious work as fun. There was only one needle and the yard was very bad quality.I would not recommend it.
