Work great, easy setup, easy to configure
I've whined a lot about other products lately, so I owe somebody a good review. This remote outlet is the easy winner.I bought one for my daughter's room two weeks ago. It worked so well (and was so easy to setup) that I wound up buying 7 more for other areas in our house. Setup will literally take 30 seconds - plug in the wall outlet, pull the battery-saver strip from the remote, and boom - you're done! If you want to mount the remote, it's two screws (which I much prefer over stick-on options because they either come off or remove your paint - there's no in-between).I even bought several extra remotes so I could control a single switch from different walls. I couldn't find instructions so I took the whole remote apart (don't do that). Ends up, you just hold down the only button on the outlet and then click a button on your new remote. Boom. That automatically programs the new remote and you're done. Incredibly easy.Out of 8 I have so far, I've had one that has to be pressed "harder" to consistently turn on. I may end up replacing that one if it's annoying. Haven't used it long enough to know about battery life, but the battery will be easy to change (no screwdriver needed). I've been using them from maybe 20 feet max, so I can't speak to how they work over long-distances - but they've been perfect for my use-case.Also - we have multiple outlets in a single room and there's no "cross-talk" - so it seems like you can mix and match these however you want without concern for interference. We mounted the remotes to the inside lid of our nightstand drawer. The screws are too long (they would have poked out the front), so I clipped them shorter with needle-nose pliers.

Excellent product...definitely good buy!! Functions perfectly!!
I decided to buy this product because I bought another one on Amazon for indoor/ outdoor that was black and industrial but didn't work. You had to press the buttons like 5,000 times in order to get it to work. But I wanted to use a remote switch because it's easier to turn on my lights with no wall switch to use. So I decided to buy this one. I saw the reviews at 4.7 stars and almost 8,000 reviews. So I said this has got to be good. Also, the price was lower than the previous DUD I bought. You just plug it in, and it works immediately, and it works effectively. I have the signal going through another door, and it still works very well. This product deserves all the credit that someone writes. You plug it in and it is very fast. It's very efficient, and it works every single time (on/off - on/off.) This is absolutely the best product when you want to have a remote/additional light switch.

Almost great, but excellent customer service
Honestly, I love these. I have 4 of them in my house, controlling separate things, and they work pretty well. I really like not having to try to hard-wire things in places where it's too difficult. I do have a couple gripes with them, though. The first is that they can sometimes be temperamental in terms of the switch turning the outlet on or off. I feel like it works about 96% of the time, and other times I have to press it multiple times for it to work. I also find that there's also sometimes a delay in the lights turning on. So I press the button and about 2 seconds later the lights turn on.The other gripe I have is that the switches have set frequencies that seem like the can't be manually separated or reset. In my kitchen, I have a plug-in pendant light I installed over the sink, and I have a set of under-cabinet LED strip lights. These are on separate Dewenwils switches, and I want them to operate separately (so one switch should control one light, and the other switch should control the other light). However, when I ordered the switches, I saw that the back of them had a sticker with the code 0304. And lo and behold, both switches controlled both lights. Similarly, I had installed the first one of these in the rental unit a floor below for some recessed shelf lights, and I recently discovered that the switch down there ALSO has the 0304 code, so the remote controls that light as well (and these were purchased about a year apart). For people stating that the range for these switches is really short, in my case, it's the opposite. The switch upstairs in the kitchen controls the outlet downstairs in the rental unit and vice versa. And fwiw, the outlet downstairs is actually inside a 'cinderblock box' (because it's in a bedroom that was created by commandeering and outfitting half the garage).Ultimately, I want to give these switches a 4.5 rating, but that doesn't exist. HOWEVER, the Dewenwils customer support team was excellent in helping solve the issue of having separate switches in my kitchen, and that's what pushed me to give this a 5-star rating instead of 4-star. I had contacted them and sent a video showing what I was trying to do and what I was actually happening in my kitchen, and they sent me a new switch/outlet, totally for free. I think they assumed that since this came direct from them instead of Amazon, it should have a different frequency. Unfortunately, it also had the code 0304 on the back, so the same problem persisted. But as soon as I wrote back explaining that it was still happening, they worked to find one with a different code/frequency (0308, so now my lights work as intended), they shipped it super quickly, didn't require me to send back the other one, didn't charge me for anything, and they were also nice enough to send me a bonus product to try out!It seems like maybe my particular use case is not common (I imagine most people are trying to actually pair more outlets and switches together), so a lot of lights produced by the company have the same frequency. But I'm getting ready to order another two switches, so hopefully they come on a fourth and fifth frequency that I don't already have, lol.

We have light!
We have a room that did not have a light switch so you always had to find the lamp in the dark. This has made our room a real room. Best buy ever! Very easy to install and use no effort at all. Thank you!
