Bulletproof Original Medium Roast Whole Bean Decaf Coffee, Clean Coffee Tested for Toxins, Sustainably Sourced, 12 Ounces

This whole bean, medium roast, swiss water decaf, coffee comes fresh! Delicious coffee with a slight nutty profile. The acidity is just right and is very smooth tasting. The certifications and testing assures this coffee poses no major health risks. Even if I allow the wet coffee grounds to sit out for more than 4 days, no mold grows on top. This is unlike most coffee that are contaminated with mold and other microbes. The price of this coffee with the certifications and testing plus swiss water decaf processing is reasonable. For my Black and Decker, 12 cup, drip coffee maker, I use 35 grams of whole beans. I do not use tap water, instead I use demineralized water filtered through my Zerowater filter. Since the water has no detectable levels of minerals, I add a small amount of himalayan salt back to the dry ground coffee. This helps smooth out the taste by softening the water with a trusted source of minerals. The aroma of the coffee when first opening the bag is wonderful. After grinding the beans the aroma is even better. I believe these steps in making my coffee are very important part my enjoyment of this coffee. My burr grinder assures that the grind size and consistency of the grounds are ideal for drip coffee makers. This is an important part of brewing an excellent pot of coffee. When I am done, the results are a great pot of delicious Bullet Proof coffee! I highly recommend Bullet Proof coffee to any coffee lover.

You know, I really love the other reviewers who smash a product when not being used as intended; or worse yet not having used it at all. Don't let them fool you, this is a great product and it is meant to be used as part of the Bulletproof (BP) plan. I've been making the BP coffee now for about 3 weeks. In short, you brew it, pour it into a blender, combine grass fed butter and their MCT oil, and enjoy! Wow this stuff is delicious, and satisfying. You see, heading into this change, I was an overworked business owner who was not able to keep up with taking care of myself. I had fallen back into the bad habit of not making good decisions about my nutritional needs. I was drinking coffee in the morning with sugary creamers. By the time I was out the door my heart was literally pounding out of my chest, my blood pressure was too high, and I was gripped with anxiety. Combine that with the fact that typical coffees have the danger of being contaminated with mold toxins and you have an elevated flight or fight response (toxins in your diet cause your sympathetic nervous system to go into defense mode). I really felt like I was 2 steps away from a heart attack. I just took my blood pressure after a cup of really strong coffee, it was 127/86. Incredible, my bottom number has not been below 90 in 10 years, AND after a cup of coffee! I am using this coffee in conjunction with the BP eating plan. This plan stresses the elimination of sugars, bad grains, bad oils, and toxins. You elevate your intake of quality proteins, good fats, and quality vegetables. You do all this while integrating intermittent fasting and light exercise. If you ACTUALLY READ his book, David Asprey, breaks down all the details for you in a straightforward manner. What he says makes a lot of sense, and he backs it up with plenty of reference and personal experience. The guy spent hundreds of thousands of his own money to figure out what works and what does not. Much of what he says goes against convention, but don't let that discourage you either. I have been a student of diet for nearly 20 years, and many of the 'commonly accepted' so called 'facts' about our diet are meant to serve a food and pharmacology industry that is more concerned with it's own profits as opposed to our health. Most of what the author says aligns with new research as well as the improving organic food supply chain. If you are a critic, I challenge you to read the book and try the eating plan! How can you constructively criticize something you have not tried; or worse yet tried only one component and then turn around and attempt to discourage others with only a few lines of meaningless criticisms? If you are reading this and you are on the fence about trying this eating plan, I say: give it a shot! for less than 100 bucks you can download the book, and while you are reading the book, order the coffee and MCT oil kit. Get your grass fed butter and take your first steps. I am so glad I did! In the short time I have been lightly following the eating plan, my blood pressure is back down to normal, I have lost about 8 lbs., my anxiety is gone, and I have a noticeable improvement mental clarity. Delicious, clean, tasting coffee!

Not as advertised. I expected a smooth rich coffee. Not so here.

We tried this because we wanted an organic coffee that we could afford without mortgaging our home. We like this. It makes a good cup of coffee without being bitter, which decaf tends to be. Every order has arrived on time and in good condition. We will continue to use this. Some have suggested that since it is sold by a different company, (that's what I read) that it is not mold free. I accidentally left the old grounds in my pot ( it's early summer and rather warm) for at least 4, and maybe five days, before I remembered it. There was not one speck of mold anywhere. It looked as clean as it had when I first brewed it. I was very pleasantly surprised!

We love the coffee, but the shipping is absolutely ridiculous. Multiple delays on two different orders.

This Coffee lives up to what it says , it’s definitely a smooth coffee has a wonderful taste is not overly roasted. I will continue to buy this coffee.💕 I have tried other decaf coffees, and this is one of the best that I have had recently! my husband drinks it, and doesn’t even believe that it’s decafinated! You really wouldn’t know unless someone told you 💕

This was actually a great disappointment. This coffee is supposed to be a medium roast, but it’s definitely a dark roast and it was roasted so dark that there was no flavor but bitter ash. It is so bad that I cannot drink it even with cream and sugar. I never throw away coffee beans, but this is definitely going in the trash.

In terms of taste this coffee is fantastic. It has a sweet smell to it and a smooth light taste. If you prefer a strong dark tasting coffee it may not suit you. I do personally prefer a dark coffee, however; the effect is exactly as advertised, and that makes it worth buying. When blended with grass-fed butter and MCT oil (I use bulletproof XCT) it gives you a real good kick, I haven't experienced this from any other brand of coffee. Also, I have not experienced a coffee crash using this at all nor do I excrete more liquid than I take in after drinking it, like with most major brands. I really don't understand those who claim it is no different from their regular brands, I would like to know what brands they use! The price is a little over the top. I know its not the guys at bulletproof who are responsible for this, it's the UK government and their ridiculous import taxation. Great way to start the day.

It's overpoweringly chocolatey. I could have just added cocoa to any coffee beans and achieved the same result for much less money.

Lovely. We have tried adding to it organic butter, coconut oil, nut butters, coconut butter, cinnamon, chocolate, all being organic of course all different tasty and healthy. We have these healthy fats to give us extra energy and health when gardening and it works (both in mid sixties we cut down trees pull logs) but you must mix in a good blender to mix the fats up in coffee. See video on uTube. For stamina with switched on brain for a job to be done it works for us. I have to add we eat healthy natural foods, cooked, raw, plenty green juices and bone broths this coffee is a luxury extra when needed. Good health cheers.
