So, I have recently started with a trainer who requires me to send videos of my various workouts so she can critique my form. I started out by propping my phone on various objects and equipment, which GREATLY limits the angles I’m able to get. I felt there had to be a better way and I’m SURE that someone else came up with an idea. Sure enough, an Amazon search showed there was in fact such a thing. I looked at a few different kinds but I wanted the easiest to move each time I changed areas as well as something that was very secure. Dropping an $800+ phone on a hard gym floor is enough to make your heart stop. I chose this particular one because, it seemed to be the easiest to move and adjust. It arrived in good condition with no issues in packaging. It is made of a nice, sturdy metal (which I was rather surprised about) which feels very high quality. It works with a magnet on each side (one to fit against the metal frame of a machine and one to fit against the phone) To my pleasant surprise, the hinge that moves to allow you to change angles is VERY sturdy. I was concerned that the weight of the phone would be more than the ball and socket hinge would be able to withstand. No issues at all! The final test was the strength of the magnets while at the gym. Zero issues at all. Both magnets are nice and strong and the hinge is secure, with no drooping over time. Nothing worse than getting a good angle in your video, just to end up reviewing the footage and you’re staring at the floor. 😭 I’ve only had it for a week, but so far 10/10. If the quality deteriorates over time, I will update the review. Good luck and good lifting!

Love it. Yes it daily even outside of gym. Just around the house if I need a phone prop. Size is perfect fits in my hand even and it attaches to any metal. Phone stays and has strong hold so you don’t have to worry it’s gonna break. Def a great product

The magnet is not strong enough to hold phone through case, or without the metal plate. So, it cancels out any magsafe chargers, forcing you to take your case off in order to use them or plug a charger into the bottom. That might be worth the effort IF the swivel were strong enough to hold my iPhone 14 Pro Max. However, it is NOT strong enough, so it slowly moves down as you record.If you have a smaller phone or do not care about the magsafe wireless charger, then this is pretty good. If you do care, then don't waste your time.

This is super convenient for filming certain lifts when I don’t want to get out my tripod. The magnet is strong, but the joints are weak but it’s an easy fix to just attach it a little higher and let the phone angle down. Could be better (I’d actually prefer if instead of having mobile joints, it was a solid piece that wasn’t able to be moved up or down to eliminate this issue) but I’m satisfied.

Best gym equipment. Performs great, it adhears to the machines perfect, it looks great in good. Installs very fast, extremely stable and made with high quality material. I use it to hold my galaxy phone in place.

The magnet plat that comes with this mount in my opinion is sort of flimsy so I'm using another magnet plate that I had from a car phone mount. The plat is circular so you'll have to attach the buddy right on the magnet and with a phone case its hard to see exactly where that is. The ball attachment that allows the base to swivel isn't super tight so if you have a heavy phone or case it will gradually begin to shift down with the weight. This isn't ideal especially if you are filming at the gym. the placement will move. Its pricey but easy to use at the gym. Suggestion is to buy one with color. I have the silver one and recently lost it at the gym. It was hard to find because i got the silver one and it blends with ALL of the gym equipment. Buy one that will stand out if you decide on this phone mount. I wish there was a way to tighten the swivel ball or whatever you call it. For that reason I'm giving a 3 star rating. Its just not my favorite but I'm still using it.

Compact and sturdy. Works well! Perfect to Film and workout. It does move on occasion, but overall extremely satisfied

This is amazing!!!! Kinda wished I got it sooner!! The force of the magnet is strong with the Force and handled the weight of my phone. I am able to adjust to any angle. Unfortunately I got a new case for phone and lost the spare magnet. I contacted customer service and they sent replacement magnets right away no questions asked! Excellent product and highly recommend!
