At 200x you've gotta get it...each scene is about 4mm.
The Dino-lite "gooseneck" and simple portable stand controls are too crude at 200x using the Dino-Lite 5mp Edge but the stage helps. You scroll through rough material and focus. I ought to get the "fine" stand for such relatively high magnifications.

I don't know if the unit I received was defective ...
I don't know if the unit I received was defective (or used but sold as new) but one axis definitely was not "Precision-machined for smooth, controlled movement" It would skip and jump along, sometimes hopping 1mm or more at a time as if the gear was misaligned to the teeth. Disappointing since it was otherwise exactly as expected. Returned for a refund.

Brackets do not work properly
Due to a manufacturing problem, the supply brackets do not hold on to the MS35B-S1 base. The brackets have a barb that does not allow the screw to go all the way down and hold to the base. Besides that, the rotating table is good.
