Conant Custom Brass Model TH-6c Vermont Copper Weather Station

They describe, in the Amazon product description, a "Conant Custom Brass Model TH-6c Vermont Copper Weather Station".But if you buy it, as I did, buried in the fine print on the back of the box, the words "Made in China" -- it's not from Vermont at all anymore.They USED to be -- I bought a Conant outdoor round thermometer for Christmas 5 years ago and still LOVE it outside my kitchen window (shaded by the roof overhang, which I recommend.) It's a classic look, with a copper body and years later still look great. BUT MINE was made in Burlington, Vermont at the Conant Custom Brass factory.Now, they're farming it out to "cheap China" and yet Amazon, or the company that just bought Conant in the mid-Atlantic, are still lying with the sales verbiage in the ad.(Suspect there's no way in H&*l I'll see the "lifetime warranty" they promise in the ad honored, in case of a problem. I wanted American made.I think it's just plain sleazy, and you should too.

They like it! And I like this particular design. I've seen them in use previously and will probably purchase one for myself.

This was the first combined temp/humidity gauge that I bought from Conant Custom Brass. I've purchased two sets of individual gauges from Conant and have been pleased until I checked the humidity against two digital gauges. Both indicated that the Conant gauges were 10 points higher than the digital reading. Humidity levels are critical for my musical instruments and I'm wondering if I made the right choice with this brand. They look great, the temperature gauge works but the humidity gauge is in question.

Copper is lovely. The inside is some paper and has already started to warp either from heat or moisture. I should have hung it where it is not exposed to the weather. A good blast of wind makes it swivel away where I can't see it. Have to adjust it after a strong wind.

very nice but way smaller than appeared….would have been a five otherwise.really have nothing else to say but am being forced

Have several for our house and barn, work great and easy to read. Made great gifts too.

This was much smaller than I thought it would be. It is hung outside the window but unless we get right next to the window we cannot see the numbers, and even then we have to really look to see.

I gave this for the holidays and hung it near the terrace doors. Everyone can enjoy and it fits into the environment being Copper.
