Fate Extella Link Standard Edition Nintendo Switch

This is a sequel to a larger series, so this one isn't exactly the best to start with in terms of story, but it's doable. The gameplay and visual style is great.

So I am a fan of Mosou games, and this one is pretty darn good. You transfer via capture zones with by clicking B and it does this "zoom in line" type of transfer. So its not like other Mosou games were you gotta run to the point. The areas are not massive but are decent. And gameplay is fresh and graphics look good. Compare to my last Mosou switch game One Piece Pirate Warriors 3. This game is a def. And those that have watch the anime or read the manga or the doujinshi of Fate, I bet they will love it.I haven't even watch the FATE anime but Im in love with the game.

Extella Link brings everything you love from the first, and greatly enhances it. It runs and looks beautiful on the Switch. There is now branching paths in campaign, for multiple playthroughs. Skills were added, which was a lovely addition that the first felt lacking. Noble Phantasms can be used MULTIPLE times in the same mission now. Instead of like Extella 1, Link you defeat enemies to gather blue and golden orbs. The blue charges up Moon Crux mode, and the gold charges Noble Phantasms. Each Servant has an outfit to unlock by bonding with them, and there is also some nice but cheap outfits to buy with DLC. The biggest surprise of all is that the AI has been incredibly revamped. The AI allies are actually useful, and the enemies are more fierce. You can do duo or even trio combos now with other nearby Servants as well. There is a multiplayer mode, but be aware it is only one game mode. However, it feels like more of a bonus to the game, than a core feature. It's fun, but just know that's all there is for multiplayer, no co-op. However, the game is still worth the purchase for the single player alone. There is a lot of content in this game, and it is so much more fun than the original. If you enjoyed the original, it is worth it to upgrade.

If you're a big fan of the Fate series you'll enjoy this game very much one gripe is the missions are a little repetitive. There are many characters you can choose from to play as and unlock. Also lots of unlockable outfits. Story has multiple paths towards the ending. Unfortunately the Switch version of the game the online multiplayer is a bit dead.

This game does have a slight learning curve, but once you get used to the flow of the game it's a fantastic anime, musou, rogue-like battle game! The relationship builder between the player character and the "battle servants" is fun as hell too!

Very fun! Story is great and you have multiple routes to choose from! And you collect the servants as you play. Tutorial is easy to follow and they have the same voice actors as the mobile game. 10/10 highly recommend. Graphics are amazing even for the switch. It’s a beautiful game and well written out.

Fate Extella link is a really fun game! The experience is really upgraded from the first Extella Game, lots of added features and new servants to choose, . A must have if you are a fan of the Fate EXTRA / EXTELLA games and the musou games.

It’s the European version but works fine in my switch and is a lot cheaper than the digital version.
