SKS Multi-Valve Head Tyre Valve Connector

Existing cheap track pump was very poor when it came to pumping up tyres with Presta type valves. You have to unscrew a retaining cap then invert a rubber sleeve with different diameters to accommodate the different valve stem widths. This never worked very well. As we have several bikes with a mix of Presta and Schrader type valves it was annoying to find the track pump was good for some but not others and spend time faffing about with the connector. Swapping the existing valve connector with this connector took only a few minutes. The pump now works easily and perfectly for all our bike valves. The fact the connector has two ports, one for each style of valve is very convenient - there is no need to make any adjustments when you swap between valve types. Nicely engineered and looks like it will last a long time. And certainly a preferable solution to buying a whole new track pump.

Bought this to replace a fancy twist & lock style valve head on a track stand pump. Had been finding the twist style valve head irritating and difficult to use, despite the marketing claiming it so easy. Took a while to decide on this one and glad I did. Quick delivery, great product and easy to swap on to my existing hose. The multi port head works well with both types of valve and I find it 10 times easier to use this valve head than my previous one. Wish I had swapped it out sooner. Valve head is easy to slide over the presta valve and pull the Lever up to lock the head in position to begin pumping. The valve head grips the presta valve well and not had any issues with it falling off, overall a good design, well made and a good price which allows me to inflate my bike tyres with little faff and irritation compared to the original twist lock valve head.

So the good bits... this valve inflator is well made and up to the usual bks stanard. It's eady to fit and seals well once on. Now the not so good bits, the change over doesn't work as eell as it does on my other bks pump especially with a fully flat tube. It needs a bit of back pressure to make it work. This generally involves pinching the tube against the valve. Its also a bit tight. The flip side being it does seal once on. All in all, pretty good but not perfect - but overall its a good way to bring an old track pump back to life.

I've been through a few Joe Blow track pumps over the years, usually because the connector gets damaged or stops working properly. I wish I'd thought of replacing the head with something like this a bit sooner, because this has saved me from buying yet another replacement track pump.It's very straightforward to remove the old connector from the Joe Blow pump, and this just fits back onto the end of the hose, and tightens to form a sturdy connection.So far, it's been easy to use and works reliably, pumping both Presta and Schrader without giving some of the weird 'blowback' effects we were getting from the original connector. You just need to check the little images on the connector to choose which hole to push the tyre valve into, flip the handle down, and pump away.It would've been nice if this had been available in yellow or all black, so it matched our yellow Joe Blow pump, but the important thing is that it does the job well, and is considerably easier to use than the original connector fitted by the pump's manufacturer.

Although this was an easy fix, it works exactly the same way as the original, not very well. I don't think it will last much longer than the original one did, but it is cheaper than buying a new pump!

After recently acquiring a compressor, I wanted to take advantage of it and use it for inflating bike tyres - a mixture of Presta and Schrader within the family bikes - as would be much quicker than my Joe Blow track pump, plus I wanted to use the compressor to be able to seat tubeless tyres much more easily.All the tyre inflators I could see for compressors had Schrader heads - understandable as they are meant for cars. I had already bought a tyre inflator, the type with the push-on Schrader handle, and after some searching I came across this SKS head, and further digging indicated that it was meant to fit a hose of 6mm bore (internal diameter) - exactly what was on my tyre inflator. So with some slight trepidation I cut off the Schrader head from my tyre inflator and the SKS head popped straight onto the hose. Phew!I can now inflate both Schrader and Presta tyres with the speed of a compressor - sure is much faster than my track pump! It is also absolutely brilliant for seating tubeless tyres - works an absolute treat!The head seats perfectly on both Presta and Schrader (on both bikes and cars) and locks on nicely. No issues at all with leaking or not staying on the valve.

I bought this for my BETO pump the connector of which was utterly useless, requiring endless pushing and twisting both to fit and remove from valves and finally destroying several inner tubes by ripping holes in them. By contrast this one is fabulously designed and engineered and it works like a dream - a credit to German quality. It fitted easily and perfectly on to the pump's 10mm diameter rubber tube. Also, attaching it to a tyre valve is a simple, positive operation, as is removing it again. Danke schoen SKS for this brilliant product!

After many years of use, my JoeBlow pump valve needed an honorable passing to the to the recycling bin !I came across this new pump valve which seemed to do the trick twice.Looked good. ( at least it did look good ), however 2x usage is not really classed as "doing the job properly !"what can I say.. I put the Trusty "valve" on my Orro road bike "excellent quality and a fantastic bike", which as it should lock on to the tyre valve, and...ARRG !! The stupid valve no longer puts air into the tyre, it has decided to pit the air into, "the air ?"No longer inflates my tyre !!Tried the usual winning way to try and fix it( "Turn it off and on again !" - the no. 1 IT reliable fault test )This still didn't work, and have wasted useful money.Why can't manufacturers make quality products, that at least for it to work more than twice !

I needed to replace the worn head on a Joe Blow Sprint. Just yanked out the old one and inserted this, which fit snugly and securely. Seems well made and works great on both types of valves. The individual ports should mean there are no internal valves to wear out from constant switching back and forth. I like that it locks when you press the lever down. You can get better leverage and seems more intuitive. Excellent and inexpensive way to extend the life of an otherwise good air pump.

I had an old BlackBurn pump and I just cut the end off to replace the head with this product. Work perfect. It's durable and very easy to use. I highly recommend.

Fungerar ypperligt enligt mig och precis vad jag letade efter för att kunna pumpa båda däcken på bilen och cykeln med olika ventiler.

Remplacement de deux embouts de pompe décathlon. Coupé le tuyau, et plongé dans de l'eau très chaude 10 minutes pour assouplir le plastique. Ensuite le tuyau s'insère en poussant fort, à la main.Le comportement de l'embout est parfait: pas de manipulation à faire, juste choisir la bonne sortie et fermer le levier qui lui ne pince pas les doigts!
