Cialdissima 120 ESE Pods - Parini taste

Being a lover of 'proper' coffee, I use ESE pods in my DeLongi Icona coffee machine and these pods are perfect. The coffee is smooth and doesn't leave a bitter aftertaste like some do. The coffee is their Parini taste ones which is much smoother than some of the more well known ones. The price is excellent too - always a good thing.Although it must be said that the description in the selling ad is for 3 x 40 pods of different varieties, I was sent 120 all the same - as I checked the selling blurb more closely it could be taken to mean either the 120 all the same or the 3 x 40 different pods. This selling company really needs to get its act together. However, saying that doesn't detract from the smooth taste and pleasure from drinking this lovely coffee.Therefore I am more than happy to recommend these to you - just read the ad carefully before ordering so you know what you are getting.

I've bought several boxes of these & some are great, the last box of any blend seem to be packed way to tight to the degree the pressure cannot get through the bag. I've checked the pressure vessel (almost new maker) & tried them on a friends device with the same results. I wont buy again & thinking of going to standard coffee & tamp it myself. Some are fine some are not.

We have used ground coffee in our Delonghi Icona for several years and finally decided to try ESE pods instead. We purchased the Parini pods from Cialdissima and not only found them to be an excellent taste but just as important is they don't make any mess! The pods are individually foil wrapped so each one stays fresh. The Cialdissima brand are excellent value for money when compared to other brands, we will definitely be purchasing these again.

When you read the reviews on this coffee it's confusing as some people are happy with the coffee strength while others say it is very weak. My first cup was excellent with good strength and nice crema. The second cup was extremely weak as if there were very little ground coffee in the pod. I'm not sure what the percentage of bad pods there are but so far it's 1 out of 3. Definitely a problem with quality which is a shame.

These pods are great value and they taste great. After 48 years of not liking coffee, I have discovered that a latte made with Parini Cialdissima pods and a shot of caramel, is absolutely delicious and just the pick me up I need after lunch. It is wonderful to be able to offer guests such good quality coffee and feels like the cafe atmosphere has come to our home. I will definitely order these again.

Really nice coffee but it isn't what I thought I was buying. The advert said there were three different types x 40 each, however on arrival it turns out they are all the same x 120.

The previous and first order we were very pleased with. Both the taste and price.Very disappointed with this latest order of 120 ESE pods. Seems 1 out of every 3 is very weak. The expresso is very pale looking. Taste - very poor.Ordered on 15 Nov 2018.

Average taste....needs two of them to give a reasonable cup of coffee
