MARIGOLD Document Thermal Binding Machine - Perfect Glue Thermal Binder (TB200)

Admittedly, I didn't expect all that much from this binder. I need to make some employee handbooks that are bound quickly and easily and settled on this machine. I am really surprised as to how fast the machine sets up (a couple of minutes for it to heat up is all it takes with the press of a single button). You slide the set of papers into a cover jacket and plop it into the machine which, then, binds it with the touch of another single button in a matter of a couple of minutes. So far, I have not had any instances of mis-binding or sheets falling out. I did order several sizes of the Fellows thermal binding presentation covers, which might be key to success as I am using a cover product that's approved for this machine and I am paying attention to insert my documents into the matching thickness Fellows covers. Fellows makes covers for all sorts of document thickness (easily measured in sheet/page count) and in my experience, as long as you choose the right thickness for the presentation binders, it will bind your documents perfectly well. In a sea of cheap, poorly performing and disappointing products, this binder has come through like a true champ. Considering its low cost, I am super pleased with it. Since it takes two simple buttons to operate it and a few minutes at an affordable price… I feel there is absolutely no room for improvement with this binder.

First of all, the item arrived in a box that was obviously opened and re-taped. There were no user instructions, either, so apparently this was returned by somebody else. However, once I figured it out it worked fine for making a booklet of 13 pages. I suspect that more pages would work even better.

I like this thin lightweight thermal binder. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. It has a simple imdicator to tell you when it is warmed up. I used it with a generic 15 page thermal binder cover, which you have to buy separately, and it worked flawlessly. I didnt notice much of an aroma, and i am usually sensitive to that kind of thing, but i still use it in a ventilated area. And any aroma might depend on the brand of binder cover that you get, so i may have lucked out there.Note to seller: I was disappointed that there are no sample binder covers included. I would love to try a thin and a thick soft cover, and i would especially like to try a hard cover without buying a whole set of them. Even if you could sell a sampler of (non smelly) covers alongside this machine, that would be a plus! The machine works well, and the listing doesnt promise to include covers, so i feel like they earned their five stars :-)

This works ok but I have to leave my binders in for about 3-4 times before it really binds the papers. In the end it does work but just not as easily as advertised. I was also surprised to see that it was made of really cheap plastic. It didn't really cost a lot and gets the job done so I guess I can't complain too much. It beats the whole puncher.

Binding machine is junk. I used it 3 times for insurance documents to make the presentations professional...except as we went through the document the papers just fell out of binding. Very professional :(I will switch to the sturdy spiral presentation now. Great reviews, but thus product is junk. Waste of money!

We used our binder for the first time yesterday to bind a book. My 13 year old daughter was able to work the machine easily and the entire process took about 7 min from turning the machine on to cooling the book. We did learn to make sure you pull out the cooling drawer before inserting the binding project. It allowed the book to go deeper in the machine. Also you cannot reuse the binding so if all the pages do not stick you will need to start over fresh.

The concept of this device is a bit like HP printers: Sell the device inexpensively and charge a high price for the useable report covers. The problem with this device is that it does not always binds all pages. The glue system seems to inadequate to ensure that all pages are glued, so some pages fall our of the binder from time to time. It's OK for a very small lot of draft reports, but if you're looking for a truly professional binding system that can handle higher volumes and be assured of binding all pages, invest in a better system.

I purchased this product for small project .It did perform well and provide enough heat to hold sheets. It was very easy to operate. It has auto shut-off feature to prevent overheating which I like. It doesn’t come with thermal binder so I bought those separately.

Me encantó lo delgada que es y la buena estética a comparación de otras máquinas de mayor volumen. Su funcionamiento bien. Y el precio excelente. Para un uso no tan seguido considero que esta perfecto, es mas casera y no para papelerías etc....
