6" overall. 3" black powder coated 1095 high carbon steel bowie style blade. Full tang. Black/gray canvas micarta onlay handles. Lanyard hole. Molded black Kydex sheath with clip. Clip can be switched to provide several different carry options. 100% of the components of each Shadow Tech knife, including the screws, are made in the U.S.A. Review: Perfect - Very sturdy Review: excellent purpose knife - First off my disclaimer. I have not been given anything for this review. That said I think this is an excellent knife for it's purpose. Before I go further the knife I received had solid black scales, not the grey/black pictured so they get dinged a star. Doesn't effect the knife itself tho. I'm going to compare it to my Esee Izula, probably the best knife I have used for EDC: 1.Prices are similar for both knives and both can be purchased for less off desertcart 2. The Izula is a drop point while the Backup Bowie is... well a bowie . Both are full tang 1095 steel. The Shadow Tech (ST) is approximately 3 ozs heavier (scales/slabs attached on each knife) 3.The Izula arrives sharper out of the box (it is an Esee). However after less than 5 minutes I had the ST as sharp 4.The "sheath" that comes with the Izula sucks. I had to purchase a Tek Lok to carry it horizontally on my belt. The ST comes with an excellent Kydex sheath that was already set to horizontal belt carry. The ST comes with drawings of the said "More than 32+ Ways to carry" 5. The thumb ridge on the ST gives a much better grab for lack of a better wor 6.Both handles would be small in very large hands. I have large hands and the ST is more comfy. 7.I can't attest to the durability of the ST because I haven't used it that much but I'm confident it will hold up well Finally BOTH ARE MADE IN THE USA
