As someone who has detailed cars for a number of years, I’ve always stayed away from PPF due to its high cost. I decided to look one day and found Install Proz. I put in my information and immediately they followed up with me to make sure they had everything correct and had the product shipped out that day. Within two days I had my shipment and was able to put it on. I’ve had the film on for about two months. It’s been through cold, hot, rain, snow, ice, salt, dirt and it still looks brand new and is performing exactly how I want it to. I don’t have to worry about rock chips anymore which is a huge relief for a car enthusiast. Delivery was quick. Email support was very quick. Price was much less than the Dealer option.I ordered the full bra kit for an 2019 Mini Countryman S. While waiting for delivery I reviewed videos available on YouTube and purchased 2 spray bottles, isopropyl alcohol, baby shampoo and distilled water. I had done my homework and consider myself above average in mechanical ability.The top half of the kit went on with ease. I estimate one hour to install. The lower half of the kit was a much greater challenge. The kit tolerances are very tight. And, my vehicle has multiple complex curves. I would have preferred a .25 to .5 inch variance along the edges. The product does stretch so a little allowance would be appreciated.What I learned from the videos. Watch carefully how the installer uses his fingers to mold the product. Correctly choosing the slippery (baby shampoo) or tacky (alcohol) solution depending on the size of the product helps. Using the rubber squeegee in short strokes. Stretching when necessary to remove ripples. Waiting to pick up the finer detail (fingers) until some drying has occurred helps. They are very good videos!My vehicle has several complex curves on the lower half of the bra. See photos. After some frustration and concern over loosing the adhesive. I decided to provide my own relief cuts in four areas. I also cut off two portions of the product that would have been about 3/4 inches wide and 3 inches long. Placement would have made it more difficult to remove ripples and adhesion was a concern.I had invested about $335.00 with spray bottles and extras vs. $899.00 for a dealer install. Total time over two days was about 3-3:30 hours.Would I recommend? Yes. Would I do it on this vehicle again? No.I just completed the install. I’m waiting to see how it survives the car wash and road hazards.

I called to ask some technical questions and the owner got back to me right away and was very helpful. The product went on much easier than I expected, after watching the videos offered on the website (and plenty of patience); it is a beautiful and perfect application that will last for as long as my car. Installed on my new Hyundai Santa Fe Unlimited- Great fit. Mirrors wher a bit more challenging, had to make a duplicate from the pattern but all others applications fit. Had use heat around lower bumper to get the stretch to fit contours- but the cut was accurate. Product seems sturdy and should repel as stated .

This computer cut kit was a little expensive, but still much cheaper than what the pro shop wanted to charge me. The kit came with the tool they use in their video and was really not that difficult to install--the instructional video was a big help. The patterns are cut to fit your vehicle, which is very nice--they do require a little bit of stretching to fit correctly. I’d recommend it

Tried to stretch the material but hood part would not stretch the full length of the hood. Contacted the seller but they assured me the material was cut to fit my car. They offered to send me another hood piece at a reduced price but not willing to pay extra. Still feel the material was cut too short. At this point, I am not willing to try the bumper portion think it will be waste of time. Please, do not waste your money.

The only problem was they didn’t make a cut for around the license plate bracket. Had to manually make the cut. All else was good.
