Basic but Durable Orange Extension Cord
It's a basic orange extension cord, 100 feet in length. The cord seems reasonably sturdy (better than the ones at my local hardware store that cost more) with durable plug ends. The cord is sufficiently supple to be easy to work with. I ended up burying the cord under a few inches of soil to protect it from sun damage. I ran it across the yard to some trees in which I'm installing holiday lights. It's a good three-prong AC cord and I would not hesitate to purchase another one if needed.

Excellent 100 foot extension cord for general household use. (Indoor/Outdoor 16 Gauge / 3 Wire / 10 Amps)
This 100 foot extension cord does the trick for most around the house projects. The cord is comparable in price and quality of what you would expect to find at a big box store. I purchased this cord for use in my outdoor Christmas light display. It has worked flawlessly and has thus far withstood a blustery beginning to winter here in Central Indiana. It is currently laying outside under two inches of snow. I haven't experienced any issues with it becoming inflexible or degrading like the ultra cheap cords found in retail. For what it is, at this price point, you can't wrong if you need a 100 foot extension cord for general homeowner use.Specs on reviewed item:100 feet in length.16 gauge / 3 wire cord.Rated 10 amps.Acceptable quality for Indoor & Outdoor use.Note on Amps:The 100 foot variety of this cord is rated at 10 amps to comply with US electrical standards for 16/3 extension cords. Great Outdoor Power Cable For Electric Landscaping Tools
My first 100 foot Coleman Cable lasted about 29 years, so it was a no-brainer to get another one. Recently I've had to start using lighter landscaping tools outside because of my advanced age and lack of strength. Of course that means that my high-priced and heavy commercial grade equipment has to stay in the shed until I find someone to sell it to. It also means that I have had to start using lighter electric powered tools to get the same jobs done. And there lies the rub. Using a power cord takes some getting used to. It's important to always remember where the cord is hanging to avoid cutting it with the tool currently in use. Case in point is my new electric Black and Decker hedge trimmer. I managed to cut the cord twice in one day because I wasn't paying attention to how the cord was hanging. Two cuts, two repairs, and the old cord was fine, just a little shorter and more dangerous to use if the ground was wet. So it's been relegated to the garage. The new cord is just as strongly made and the bright fluorescent orange color helps you keep track of it. It's nice to be able to purchase the same product again that has served you so well over a long period of time. This power cord should meet all of your outdoor needs just fine.NOTE: My Stihl Hedge Trimmer cost me $389.00 and weighs about four times as much as my electric Black and Decker trimmer (cost $34.95). Using the B&D over my head to trim tall hedges is so much simpler than the Stihl, plus it's easier to use, doesn't take gas, doesn't have to be serviced, and won't cut deeply into your leg if you happen to let it fall to your side. (ER here I come!) When the B&D quits functioning at an acceptable pace, just throw it away and buy another one. You can buy 10 B&D's for the price of one Stihl. No muss, no fuss.

Works great but its BASIC, Low gauge, and NOT for lawn mowers
This cable works great for some simple outdoor power tools, however, it has a 16/3 gauge. I was kind of new to this being a new 1st time home owner so I didn't know any better. The amperage required by cordless mowers require a lower gauge extension cord than this one (so no cheaping out). I was able to find that out and review luckily before using a cordless mower I purchased (this pictures on the product tipped me off when I stared at it).I took a star away as it could be made more evident or noted on the product page that it isn't for high end power tools or cordless mowers otherwise I probably wouldn't have purchased.

A must for homeowners.
Just the correct weight and strength. I like the length and flexibility.

A good cord to have for everyday use.
I've had this cord (100ft) version for about 2 weeks. It's a very high quality cord that serves it's purpose well. It's a no frills cord, but it's also at a great price. It's missing a few premium features you would find on other cords such as LED Lighted tips, and Locking Mechanisms on the tips.Using Kill A Watt and a Electrical Weedeater i was able to confirm it's Amp rating. The 100Ft version will safely do 10A/125V/1250W.I can't speak for the 50ft version which is rated for 13A, but i'm sure it meets specs. The product came well packaged and neatly rolled up. It's bright orange and is was manufactured in Indonesia. I have uploaded some pictures to the gallery of what the cord looked like when i first received it from Amazon.I recommend getting a spool or cable wheel to keep it nice and tangle free.Overall Score: 5/5
