Almost Midnight 2 Festive Short Stories

Two short stories, quick read. Wished they were longer, they were adorable. One of my favorite things were the graphics that followed the storyline on the page. It really added that little something for the reader.

I just want more! These short stories were ridiculously lovely but just too short for my heart to bear. Give me more midnights and more waiting lines that wrap around the movie theater. I neeeeeed ‘em.

Rowell has a gift for character development and realistic dialogue.

The two stories were simple and cute but the book was just way too short in it's entirety and was extremely small. If the book were the size of a normal book it would probably be a total 40 pages. I would borrow this book from someone or just read it in a library. One can probably read the entire book in an hour.

First of all, this book is so cute! It was smaller than I expected, which was interesting. If you like to collect books and display them at home like I do, I'd definitely recommend adding this to your collection. The stories are also wonderful (of course, it's Rainbow Rowell!).

Have been looking for this book for a while after seeing it on Pinterest! I got this for Christmas and loved both the stories. Great for fans of Rainbow Rowell who are looking for a short story fix! Also, the cover is all sparkly and awesome!

I bought this for my classroom library because one of my students found it online and couldn't wait to read it. She flew through it and has already recommended it to all her friends. Great purchase!

This book was so adorable not only is the outside so cute that you have no choice but to judge it for its cover, the two stories inside are just as amazing.

The media could not be loaded.  The image for the Hardback version does not do it justice. I purchased this knowing that it was a combination of two short stories, so I knew how small it was going to be. I would say that the cover art justifies the price and both of the stories were beautiful. Rainbow Rowell is a fantastic writer and I have enjoyed everything that I've read from her so far.

I read this book so quickly, that im actually quite sad i didn't savour it!I loved both stories equally, can't even pick which one i prefered!I think Almost Midnight is maybe my favourite, but Kindred Spirits follows straight away.I prefered the story of Almost Midnight, but maybe because i sort of new they were going to have a beautiful moment at the end, and i was excited for it...I liked kindred spirits because i wasn't really expecting it! The ending was perfect and sweet, and simple. Just lovely. I would love this story to have been longer, but im not sure how much further it could have gone, maybe another star wars movie? Or we could see their relationship blossom.You know what, these stories are just so cute, they make me feel cute!The only thing i didn't like - The stories were over too quickly (i know this is the point of a short story, i just really enjoyed them)...I dont see why anyone should not read this book? If you like short stories, read it. If you like Rainbow Rowell's cuteness she merges into all of her books, read it. If you like to want more, read it!I have also read Rainbow Rowell's Eleanor and Park (Literally my FAVOURITE book), and Fangirl - Im yet to read Carry On, but i think i will soon now!

This book contains two very cute, fluffy and heartwarming festive short stories. I enjoyed both unique stories from a great author. The illustrations inside are amazing and eye catching, which helps set the scene of the stories and characters. Even the hardcover is really beautiful (I know, I know. Not to judge a book by its cover, but still....it is and added bonus that its cute.)
