Mastering Import and Export Management

Purchased for a graduate course for my wife. She prefers to have a have a hard copy instead of just the on-line book so she can take better notes. Less than half the price of what the university charges for the book. A good value.

This book was required for my import and export class as my degrees in international business. The book itself is invaluable. I keep it on my shelf because from time to time I still go back and review it. If you think you'll ever for freight forwarder, on the ports work products are ingressing and egressing the country, you need this book. It will help you understand the import and export business.

came as expected

Those not fairly experienced in international trade or logistics will have a difficult time with this book. I find each chapter concisely written in terms of outlining a process flow or checklist, with most of the important details found scattered around the appendix and glossary. The appendix and glossary make up at least half the book, and I've yet to find an easy way to navigate this critical last half of the book. All that said, there's great information to be had, and a patient novice aspiring to management in international trade or logistics can still scrape out a fair bit of digestible material.

This is not a good book. Expensive, out to dated, not worthy at all. If you want to know about import and export you may buy a commented version of Incoterms 2010 and study it.
