First problem is brightness of the display- the control has very little effect, so you have one eye blacked out when you look away from the viewfinder. I would have expected a proper range of brightness, going down to very low when required. The suppliers tell me this is normal(!).Second is battery life. The supplied battery lasted less than an hour. I may have managed to leave it on, in which case there is no auto off function, which I would regard as a problem in itself. I am keeping a close eye on the life of the new battery. The display itself is rather coarse and takes a little while to stabilise after movement, but the scope does work, it does seem a bit crude for the asking price in the UK.
