Head Protection
Expensive - yes, but great value - comfortable and provides the level of protection needed when dropping, climbing, and chipping trees. The face shield affords good visibility and protection.

I have owned this helmet since it began being carried in the USA.
This helmet is ok, but just ok. It is very heavy. The integral muffs are why I bought it, and they are great, although I've changed out the ear pads with better headphone pads. The hassles I have had are with the suspension and chin strap. It is tough to adjust the suspension. The many clips and sliding straps are poorly designed. The chin strap interferes with the muffs, until you get the side straps on either side of your ears. I eventually pulled the original strap assembly, and replaced it with a single strap design of my own. Far better. The sweat band does not stay in place, and when you look at how it snaps in, you'll understand why: The snap-in nubs are too shallow. An ok helmet, like I wrote. It's too expensive, though. Next time, I'll go back to a standard helmet.
