For DIY heaters - like an electric masonry stove
I have been using these ceramic heaters to heat cement bricks kind of like a masonry stove that heats a mass that slowly releases the heat. I use solar panels to power the 5 PTC heating elements to heat 50 pounds of patio blocks during the day. The heat can last for 2 hours after sunset and only take a half hour to warm up. Since they don't need electronics to control - the solar panels can be directly connected to the heaters. You can see these heaters on YouTube.

5v, 1-2 amp, about 80C, cooking components to torture them in the lab. Some like it hot.

Works as expected. They heat up really well, but what you can do with them is limited. Small applications only

Place between two solid flat stone or or concrete block to absorb the heat then place a small 12v fan blowing by them.and use as a heater.

Heats up to 220c in secondsUses 28w, just over 2 amps in 12vVery small and flat but works great

Works as expected
Received today and it seems like mine does not get hot. It does not go over 110F. But it was the problem with my AC adapter only supporting 1000mA. Changed it to the one with 1.25A, worked as expected.
