Though an out of print product from the 90's it arrived in perfect condition, and in a timely way.

I was doing a Star wars themed project and needed mini versions of the vehicles. I remembered these toys from my childhood and felt they were perfect. They were!

What can I say...Star Wars Micro Machines are awesome.

Now that the new batch of Star Wars Micro Machines is coming out, I am reminded of the sad fact that the Star Wars models were generally not among the better-made Micro Machines. This set in particular, having 3 of the more desired ships, is a perfect example. The Star Destroyer, the ultimate in sharp lines among sci-fi vehicles, is bent. Every single unit I have seen is bent, and doesn't straighten well with the hair dryer trick. It's like the upper and lower halves are not the same size. The Millennium Falcon's tips don't line up and the details are blobby. The X-wing has misaligned cannons, but it can be fixed with the hair dryer and some careful work.Unlike the old Micro Machines, most or all of the Star Wars models have a good portion of rubber rather than hard plastic.
