The strainer lid has two sizes of holes: one size is very large and lets some of the kefir grains to pass through, and the other is so small that it takes ages to pour. I stopped using the strainer lid and went back to using a regular filter to drain the kefir.The cover is also not very practical. It's hard to leave it in a position where it let's enough (but not too much) airflow. I have also stopped using the cover in favour of a simple sheet of kitchen paper towel with an elastic ribbon.The only part that of the Kefirko that I still use is the glass, which (alone) was not worth the price. IMO, the easiest way to make milk kefir is to have a regular glass, a nylon filter, and a sheet of cloth or paper with a ribbon to use as a cover. However, if you prefer to have everything in one item, Kefirko is an alternative, albeit imperfect, solution. It won't necessarily make your kefir-making more efficient and less time consuming (which was my goal).

J’uti Ce bocal pour fabriquer du lait kefir et si ce n’est pas obligatoire c’est quand même très pratique.Dommage que ce soit un peu cher.
