Village At Home Metal Tall Stick Lamp with White Shade, Chrome

I am happy with this purchase, it looks good and fuctions as it should. The item looks exactly the same as the one in the item photo, so the lamp was as expected. It also comes supplied with a proper legal 3 pin UK plug. I especially like the design of the lamp as it is tall so allows for a maximum spread of light from the bottom of the shade over a larger surface area.

There are some bad reviews for this lamp on here, and it almost put us off buying two of them, but I'm glad we went ahead and bought them. The lamp arrived quickly, was well packaged no no breakages, feels sturdy and for the money is good quality. I would buy again definitely!

I'm pleased with this lamp and it is now on a small table next to hubby's chair, ideal for reading.

Ordered 2 of these. One arrive damaged (lamp fitting snapped off - no damage to the box). Replacement has fractured lampshade locking ring but still just usable. Poorly made item I need these lights at the moment so will be keeping them, but replacing them when the hight Street re-opens. Not recommended, save your money and yourselves undue stress!!!

I needed a quick solution for extra light in our home office and ordered this lamp. It is very nice, looks great and gives a pleasant light in the evening when you don't want too bright artificial light. The lamp is tall but discreet and would fit anywhere (it's too tall as a bedside table lamp though).

Bought for my bedside table, a lovely elegant lamp that gives a nice light and uses easy to buy bulbs. A handy switch on the cord makes it easy to use in bed.

Stand very good but shade poor quality

this is a bit overpriced. infuriatingly short cable to power socket, having to use extension lead. cheapskates. it's worth £5 less than i paid i think
