It was exactly what I needed for riding on a float during a parade.

Ok harness except for one thing
In this case you get what you pay for. The belt is OK except for one concerning thing, the steel adjustment buckle is sharp on one side which could cut the belt in time. These are 'stamped out' steel buckles which means one side will be quite sharp - and they didn't take the 5 extra seconds to file or Dremel tool the sharp edge, and you can't get a tiny file in there to file the sharp edge because they sowed it all together. So I just cut that adjustment buckle off with my angle grinder cutoff wheel and put a carabiner thru it. I think it's ok now. So I got two of them. I would never rock climb with one of these, but for basic securing, it is far better than nothing.

Keeping safe
The safety belt worked well for me. The material is solid. The safety strap, depending on the diameter of the tree that you are taking down may be a little short but for the job that I needed it for it was just right. The safety strap fully extended is 56 inches.

Good product for the money
I will use this year putting up deer stand in the tree. This will keep me falling off the tree when I putting my hangon stand in the tree

Safety and peace of mind at a great price!
I had a second story roofing project to do and I am super cautious when working high off the ground. This belt coupled with the PeakWorks Steel Roof Anchor Bracket, V8229104 gave me the safety and comfort I needed to focus my attention on the work at hand rather than not falling off the roof. The cost of both were a no-brainer.

I bet my Life on it
I went up some Trees to day with this Belt. I did not want to review it until I used it. I spent 4 hours climbing, working with this Belt and inspected it afterwards I weight 190lbs. it was the cheapest one I could find anywhere and I bet my life on it, and will again tomorrow. If it's something your not going to use all the time .... this is everything you need.

cheap quality
I would certainly not bet my life on it, like someone writes here. Maybe the one of my mother in law, if I would get her to climb on a tree.. The belt frays, the carabiner is cheapest quality, not to mention the flimsy secure lock, see picture. Maybe I received a different belt, but I cannot imagine that anyone would use and trust this thing.
