When the hose on my beloved Bissell Pet Spot Bot unexpectedly gave out, I was at a loss. This little machine has been a godsend in managing the messes that come with having pets, and suddenly finding it out of commission was not something I had prepared for. The daunting prospect of having to replace the entire unit loomed over me until I discovered the Bissell Hose and Handle Replacement. To say this product was a perfect match would be an understatement.From the get-go, I was impressed by the quality of the replacement part. It arrived neatly packaged, with every component securely in place, reflecting Bissell's attention to detail and care for their products. The hose itself boasted a robust construction that was reminiscent of the original, assuring me of its durability and long-term performance.The installation process was surprisingly simple. Armed with just the basic tools and the straightforward for me as I have some basic knowledge on tearing part small appliances, I was able to fit the new hose and handle onto my Pet Spot Bot without any hitches. It was a seamless process that took mere minutes, and the satisfaction of being able to repair my own appliance was immensely gratifying. The replacement part integrated flawlessly with the rest of the machine, as if it were tailor-made for it.Using the machine post-repair, I noticed no compromise in its performance. The suction was as powerful as ever, effectively dealing with the spills and stains that are all too common in a pet owner's life. The handle's design provided a comfortable grip, allowing for ease of maneuverability and control, which significantly enhanced the cleaning experience.What truly stood out to me was how this replacement part breathed new life into my Pet Spot Bot. I've been through a number of the Pet Spot Bots over the years. If you own kids, dogs and cats you know this gets pretty heavy use. I'm currently on Spot Bot #3. What always gives out is the hose, it tends to develop a hole either up by the handle or down by the connection to the unit. This of course is is you use the hand attachment a lot like we do. After using the auto clean feature, I like to use the wand to suck up the excess water the auto setting misses. The carpet dries a lot quicker if you do. The install of the new hose is pretty simple. I've added some photos to help you out. You will need a Phillips screw driver to remove 4 screws to take the top off. After the screws are off the top lifts up but be careful there is a ribbon cable attached to the control panel. I just unplugged it and set the top aside. Next, with some pliers or similar, pinch the spring clamp from the small hose and slide it up the hose. Pull the small hose off the fitting. I found this to be the tricky part, it's on there pretty good. I ended up cutting the hose up a few inches and tugging it off with some pliers. (save the little spring clamp you will need to transfer it to the new hose) Next you can lift the large hose's plastic end up a little and tug it out of it's holder. It's just pressed in place. Now fit the new part right where the old one was, remember to put the spring clamp on the small hose before fitting it on the barbed connection. Plug the ribbon cable back in and place the top part on and screw it back down. Pretty simple and good as new. A lot cheaper than a whole new unit for about 15 minutes work! See photos they should help (I hope)Edit Update Note: In order to minimize the risk of the new hose getting a hole in the same place, when you wind the hose back up do not wind it on the last tab that holds the hose. Doing that puts a strain on the hose and it will develop a hole again over time. Wind it up like my last photo that will make it so there is no strain on the hose and it will last a lot longer.

Our poor Bissel SpotBot Pet has cleaned up its fair share of messes. After many years of use, the hose finally broke. I was very happy to find this replacement part so that I didn't have to put the whole thing in the landfill. Even though the hose didn't come with instructions, I was able to figure out how to install it without any cussing. It only requires a Philips-head screwdriver and a small pair of needle nose pliers to undo the clamp.

It was an exact replacement for my broken hose. It went back in perfectly and my SpotBot is working better. Most likely because I cleaned it while I had it open to replace the hose.

This was great! My old one cracked and was unusable. I was able to find a YouTube video on how to replace it. Followed the directions and got the net hose on. Only problem was that now the floor brush part of the carpet cleaner no longer works! It’s not the fault of the hose. I don’t know what happened, but I’d advise you to get a professional to replace the hose.
