This is an incredible piece of furniture!First, the piece arrived in great condition (and was delivered early!). It was very well packaged and everything arrived in perfect condition. All of the necessary parts were included, easy to find in the packaging, and easy to install.Second, assembly couldn't have been easier. We have assembled countless pieces of furniture over the years but this was the easiest piece to assemble ever.The engineering of the piece really sets it apart. We couldn't imagine what "hinged" assembly might mean, but that's what it is, and it worked beautifully! The front and back of this TV console are connected by hinged inner dividers, that allow the front and back to be lifted out of the box, and set on the floor as a whole unit that is very stable. The sides, bottoms, and top then are set in place, held by wooden pegs, pre-engineered slots, and easy-to-install metal connectors. The doors are already attached to the front of the unit, all we needed to do was attach the knobs for each door. We had this assembled in less than 30 minutes and it looks fabulous! This piece of furniture is going to last!This is a lovely piece of furniture that suited our needs and blended in with the rest of the furniture in our home. Beautifully finished, real wood veneers were used in this piece, and the glass in the doors is beveled glass.We have just moved into a new home and will need other pieces of furniture. For those other pieces of furniture, I am actually looking at pieces made by Leick Home first!One thing to note is that this is SOLID and that means HEAVY. It took two grown men using moving straps to move the shipping box into our house, and it took two adults to lift the front and back assembly unit out of the box and set it on the floor. After that, it was quick and easy.

The color is darker than the picture. All in all its great piece of furniture. I will buy more of Lieck products in the future. Quilty is beyond good. Well made. Easy to assemble.

I had this item in my cart for a long time - a couple of years - before I finally bought it. I was really nervous about buying such a huge piece of furniture online because returning it would be a nightmare. I need not have worried. It's a beautiful, carefully designed, sturdy piece of furniture. Key points:Packing: Excellent. You can tell that someone put real thought into the packing - it was very well designed. Inside the box the corners were reinforced. There were lots of cardboard and styrofoam sections strategically placed so that the pieces of the stand don't move around inside the box, the pieces were individually wrapped in a soft cushioned foam wrap to avoid scratches, and the glass was well-protected. I was impressed that something so large arrived in perfect condition. Even the stickers are well-designed - they peel off easily and leave no residue. You do have a lot of cardboard and foam to dispose of afterwards.Assembly: Very easy for such a large item. It took my husband just over 30 minutes and he was being careful. The main body just unfolds and the big pieces just slide into place. Then you just bolt on the top, insert the shelf supports, and screw on the door handles. All hardware was provided. But it's heavy: unless you are quite strong, you should get a second person to lift the main section out of the box. And I recommend two people to move the completed stand into place.Fit & Finish/Quality: The only two very minor flaws in ours are (1) The back of the cabinet was slightly concave. I had to apply pressure to one end of the back to get the holes to line up while my husband bolted on the top. After that, it was fine. (2) The left and right cabinet doors are stiff; they work, but I do hope they loosen with use.As noted, this piece has NO particle board. It's solid and heavy. Even the back is a thin piece of wood (maybe plywood - it's hard to tell under the dark finish). But it's definitely not the usual cardboard that manufacturers stick on the backs of TV stands. Handles are metal, and finished nicely. The wood finish has depth and a nice luster. I have seen pieces in furniture stores that cost twice as much and didn't look as nice.Glass Doors and Remote Control Use: Yes, remotes work fine through the glass!Color: Mine is near the darker end of the pictures on the reviews. In dim light it looks very dark brown. But in sunlight or other bright lighting the lovely red tones come out.So I am very happy (and very relieved) that this has worked out so well. I needed a new TV stand for a larger TV I bought. This is a beautiful piece of furniture and it fits the new 65 inch TV perfectly on top. Also my Onkyo receiver fits nicely inside the cabinet along with an old CD/DVD player although the CD/DVD player doesn't get used much anymore.Assembly was straight forward and without issues. One person can do it without help. All the holes aligned and all of the hardware was there. It was packed securely with plenty of padding so nothing was scratched or damaged. It is a heavy piece of furniture so, after assembly, I put some of those furniture sliders under it in case I needed to move it out from the wall. If I wanted to nitpick a little, I would prefer the door handles and the metal around the glass doors be brass. That's a personal preference though.
