great fit and durable
We bought 2 of these to halter break our heifers. They have stood up really well to being pulled on and tied up with. I would definitely recommend these to anyone looking. The metal clip that the rope goes through helps for a quicker release of pressure when they give in and stand quietly.

I like this company & it’s products but not this one.
I have always used these poly rope halters to lead my dairy heifers. I was excited to try this one with the metal hardware. It is poorly designed and the right piece connecting the noseband constantly digs into the heifer’s face. I purchased another one thinking it may be a defect but the second halter has the same problem. I like this company and it’s products but not this one.

not quite what I was expecting
A bit confusing. Looked so easy in the Youtube I watched. First two days I got it on two of our heifers just fine. 3rd day- user error I'm sure- just couldn't get it on them right. both of the heifers were used to wearing horse halters so just kept up with those and a lead rope. Since that's what we're used to, think that's what I'll stick with. Maybe next calves I'll try these again.

A step up
This is our first heifer project and this halter has been really great for us. We're definitely on a learning curve and started with a little older calf. The metal loop/slide definitely does its job not hanging up, allowing the poly rope to loosen/tighten as pressure is needed. However, my nephew was using the same halter for his much more stubborn heifer, named "Ms. Attitude" and she is able to get it off easily during the halter training phase.

LOVE WEAVER!
My family and I swear by weaver. They simply have the best products. This breaking halter is no exception. We love the idea of the loop allowing the calf to have slack when they are relaxed. Each of our show animals get one of these halters!

Can do terrible damage to your hands!
Don’t waste your money, it hurts your hands, has too much slip to it (my 700 lb steer untied it even with a safety tie on it), and if he knew the fact that he could toss me and get away if he really wanted this can cause some serious damage to your hands. Don’t get it!

It’s alright
Pretty easy to use and really sturdy. Kinda moves around the face of a cow a lot but gets the cow from point A to point B. Just gotta be careful when using and mindful of where the rope is on their face.

I believe this item to be a good breaking halter
I believe this item to be a good breaking halter. What I didn't expect is for the metal clasp to break 4 days past the allowed return date for Amazon.Updated: it was replaced with 2 new ones. Both have been use with no issues ever since.

Ok
Does what it's supposed to do, however!! It must be meant for stocky beef heads as my calves are half dairy and slides up. Only used when the calves are being stubborn with walking with their headcollars.

Great Halter, quick to release
We really like this halter, when breaking 4H Steers for the kids this is our halter of choice. The halter can pull very tight when first breaking in a steer and the little metal clip allows a quick release of tension when compared a regular rope halter. We like them so much we have bought them for 4H prizes to introduce them to other areas.

Worked on a 2500 bull.
We used this on this 4 year old bull to restrain him when we gave him a shot of antibiotics. It worked fine.
