Works with 'old school' iPod
After trying numerous products to use with my classic iPod, I finally found one that actually works. The car I use it in, has no usb ports or other current technology. When my old transmitter fell apart, I figured that my iPod would be reduced to using a docking station only - it does NOT have blue tooth capability. With this transmitter, I was able to plug it into the cigarette lighter, tune to an FM station not transmitting, and listen to the music again. It was really easy to get going. The biggest problem is finding a clear station to use. The directions say that it's ideal to find a station that has no broadcasting on settings to either side, but had trouble finding one... not the fault of the transmitter, just the city area surrounding. I am really happy with this purchase!

SUCCESS!!!
I have ordered various cords, Bluetooth transmitters, etc to listen to my iPod video. This was my last resort to try they were out of stock for a while and finally I was able to order. I’m a techno tard- self admitted and it was super easy to hook up!! I’m so happy that it works. I may buy another to have as a back up as this will get used ALOT!! Thank you!!

A Rare Find These Days - (far from perfect though)
Since I have a 10 year old iPod, this is exactly what kind of transmitter that I was looking for and needed in order to play music from my iPod in my car. The one that I had been using up to this point was just as old, and then had finally stopped working. It was very difficult to locate another one in 2020. I was shocked to see this listed, and I ordered it immediately. I am not having the same issues as other people in regard to reception and sound. It works perfectly for me. Every once in a while there is a little bit of static that I did not have with the other transmitter. Considering everything and looking at the big picture, it really is not enough of an issue to to even complain about it. However, I feel the necessity to at least mention it. No, it’s not perfect. You would never regret buying it though. Another thing, which is a matter of preference, is that there is no “holder“ for the iPod. You have to leave it on your seat or between the seats in the tray. For me, it makes it easier to change the track on the iPod, (although I shouldn’t be doing that while driving). For others, it may just annoy them or be an inconvenience to have it sliding around on the seat at times, or that it just not secured somewhere. That being said, if you are looking for one of these, I totally recommend it. It is perfectly fine as a replacement for my old one and does exactly what it is supposed to do. Most important, these are very difficult to find anymore, and I am very happy that I found this one. UPDATE: I need to revise this review regarding the problem with static. I did not have it initially, because I only was driving in my general area. Once I actually needed to drive “somewhere”, it was a nightmare trying to find a clear station that did not constantly have to be changed. Even using the word “clear” is being generous. Sure, you can still listen to your music, but it is really annoying as hell. However, I go back to my original point that these old transmitters are just not available on the market these days. So, I would still buy it.

Could work better on the static noise
I did not like this product because there is a lot of static in the sound. It could for various reasons or perhaps because I live in a crowded city like Los Angeles. The Bluetooth connection is fine but no so much the auto scan. It just starts scanning all stations.
