First Base Group Conference Pads with Coaster, 18 by 12-Inch, Black

It used to be ok but now it's been a while and i can safely say I hate it now. The corners have all let go and make an awful squelching noise now. I can't get them to stick. Ugh. Gotta find something better.Yes it’s very thin, no the texture isn’t pleasant but it doesn’t matter to me. I needed a black matte surface that stays put. I draw on it and I wear an anti smudge glove so I don’t feel the unpleasant texture.

I bought my wife a small secretary writing desk, and i told her we needed to protect the finish from pen marks. When i saw this Conference Pad, i wasn't sure what to expect - Surprise, surprise! The pad arrived very quickly, and (because the leaf on the secretary is relatively small) i thought i would need to trim the pad... 1) The 12 x 18" pad was exactly the correct size - no trimming needed. 2) I didn't realize the 'contact' side of the pad has a tacky surface - the leaf of the desk, when closed, tilts inward. A regular desk set would need to be repositioned each time the leaf was opened. The Conference Pad stays in place, but can be replaced as needed.Listen, this all may seem to be a lot of gushing about a small thing, but i am always happy that a product exceeds expectations. Hooray for small happy things!

Product is Accurate to Description BUT it arrive damaged. Two of the corners are bent and therefore do not stick to the surface.The material is very thin and appears to be a surface that will clean easily. The pad is non-slip and can be repositioned easily. I do plan to return it and order another one.

I do not find it great for daily desk use. I wished I had ordered a thicker pad. It is very thin and seems expensive for what it is.

Don't even think about buying this. Paper thin and overpriced. I was going to outfit my board room table.I'm glad I only purchased one ! Save your money.
