Great kitchen scissors! The build quality is excellent and the blades are sharp. It makes cutting food a breeze when you don't want to go with the full knife and cutting board route. You can just hold the food in your hand to cut it and you don't have a messy cutting board to clean up afterwards. Another advantage of it is that it can be taken apart and used as a knife, this also makes cleaning much easier. It's a perfectly designed product at a decent price to simplify some of your cooking tasks. Recommended!

We were really excited at first since they appeared to be of good quality and so versatile, but after just 4 months of use the blades have bent and they no longer cut anything.

I purchased this multi-purpose kitchen shears for my father-in-law for Christmas after my husband saw him trying to cut some chicken with a dull pair of kitchen scissors. These are attractive (very sleek and modern) and extremely sharp. They cut through meat, especially chicken effortlessly, But I think their most attractive feature is the fact that they can be detached and used as separate tools (scissors and knife) These shears are a little heavy and the grip takes some getting use to, but I think the aesthetics and cost make them a must have for most kitchens. And finally, if you travel a lot or go on romantic weekend trips, this is a handy tool because it is so versatile. Not to mention, this would make a pretty great gift for a serious cook. I highly recommend it.

Haven't used yet, but seems okay. The only thing I noticed is that it feels just a bit flimsy, not bad but not like an expensive piece of German cutlery. I guess I'll find out when I use it to spatchcock my next chicken or turkey.

I spatchcock chicken and turkey for the grill and this works perfectly, very sharp, easy on the hands, and shortens the whole process. The blades come apart and you can use the it as a knife, but I have sharp knives, but not shears like this

Lock does not work , came apart and went straight into my toe!!! Was so excited about this based on the other reviews , I had purchased a different scissor to cut up all my fruits and vegetables easy , and although it works great , I wanted one that was sharper that would work continuously without having to sharpen each time , this is not it . I even tried it a second time thinking maybe I had not used the lock correctly , I had , this time it missed it my foot because I prepared , but almost hit my cat sneaking up on me who was yards away . If I wanted a knife I would have bought a knife . Shouldn’t be able to come apart. Very scary , and disappointing.

I liked the design of the product, however, after using the shears for the first time to cut poultry bone I experienced a dulling of the blade and significant decrease in performance. I cannot recommend this product for use as a poultry shear.

I'm giving these a 3 because it was GREAT for the first few weeks but it dulled quickly and is difficult to sharpen. I feed my dogs raw chicken and was looking for something to easily dissemble the pieces.
