Alaroo Halloween Shiny Fish Scale Mermaid Leggings for Women Pants S-4XL

I purchased these leggings for a race at the beach. Because of the mixed reviews, I had low expectations; however, I am so happy with these leggings. Firstly, the color and pattern are so vibrant and pretty (I ordered rainbow), and the fabric is not see-through. Secondly, I experienced no chafing during my race - a concern since I was uncertain about the quality of the fabric. I am 5-9, with a short torso and long legs. On me, these leggings were quite high waisted and approximately 7/8 length, but that was fine for me. I did not experience the bagginess that other reviews cite - the leggings were neither too loose nor too tight. Since my race, I have worn these leggings to the gym and to Barre class, and they have performed well in those settings, too. During my race, I received so many compliments on these leggings, and since then, I receive compliments every time I wear them. Women have stopped me on the street and in stores to tell me how cute I look and to ask me where I bought these leggings. You should definitely buy them, too, to receive this boost to your self esteem. I've worn and washed these leggings several times, and I have not noticed any reduction in quality. If I need additional mermaid leggings, I will definitely be a repeat customer. I recommend these leggings - 5 stars.

I bought it to wear for the little mermaid outfit. I'm 5'2 about 127lbs and I bought a medium. I read all the reviews and found people that matched my size. I also measured myself. I'm glad I went with a medium size. It's not to tight and it's not to big either. It has a nice feel and stretches really good. I like the elastic band around the waist. It doesn't dig into me. I'm glad I went with this color because it matches my shirt really well. It's comfortable enough that I can wear it again and go out and have fun and maybe even wear it to the beach.

These leggings are perfect for my Halloween costume. I wanted a subtle hint at the little mermaid and these will be perfect with the purple swing top I bought and some pearls. The leggings are comfortable, I bought the largest size they offer. Typically I wear a size 16 or 18 jeans. I wanted to be sure they wouldn't be too thin and they aren't in the slightest bit. I'm about 5'9 and they are the perfect length for me. They do fit a little loose around the ankles and knee but I really prefer it not to be skin tight all over. The waistband is pretty thick which I also like because it doesn't feel like it's cutting into you, it's a little loose in the waist on me because I did buy a bigger size so I wouldn't have to worry about them being translucent but it's not loose enough that it is uncomfortable or that it slips down. I have washed them once and they seem to have washed well. Overall a fun purchase and I'm sure they could be worn for more then just Halloween. The material is a bit strange, not uncomfortable, but it's kind of slick and I'm not sure it's very breathable so probably wouldn't be a very awesome pair of workout leggings. Overall I'm happy with my purchase and I feel it exceeded my expectations in fit, quality, and appearance.

These pants are very pretty, but the quality control is lousy. I ordered an XL in the peacock blue color, and a 2x in the purple. The reviews were mixed when it came to sizing, so I figured I'd try both and see how it goes. Turns out there's no difference between the two sizes. In fact, if anything, the blue XL was a smidge larger than the 2x purple (see photo). Also, the purple pants didn't have a size on them, just a removable label that says "hand wash only." The blue had a size on it and say you can wash and dry it. I don't understand why 2 identical types of pants that are only different in color would have different washing instructions. I'm going to keep one pair and send the other back.For size reference, I'm about 5'5, 173 and curvy. They fit perfectly, though a bit stiff and not super comfortable. I'm a bit concerned they may bust a seem if I squat or move wrong in them, so I'll be careful lol. I got them for a costume, so they'll do, but not sure if they'll last more than one use.

These were perfect for a mermaid costume. They are not see through at all, and look exactly like the picture but they are very cheaply cut and fitted. The seams are sturdy enough but they are pretty unflattering in the way they’re cut and I would say they run on the large side. I’d totally recommend them for a costume but not for everyday use.

My granddaughter wants me to be a Mermaid for Halloween. I have been searching for a mermaid tail or pants. These have exceeded my expectations! Soft, shimmery and the color is great! Best of all they fit me! I ordered a 2X. Grandma is 5ft 3 in and weighs 215 lbs. LOL! Great fit for me!

OK, so these look nice and feel nice. They do stretch very well, better than I expected. They are far too short, however. I'm not tall - 5' 6" - and they are just not long enough. I can't say too small, just too short.

These were great for my halloween costume. I hoped they would be a bit tighter but I only weigh about 90lbs… good length… comfortable. Good value I think!

The sizing chart is rather accurate. They weren't see through, which I was worried about. They were super comfortable and they look really nice
