I love the Streamlight Microstream!!! The flashlight lasts for hours, and only uses a single AAA battery. And this light is also virtually indestructible. I've left them in the washing machine and the dryer and they come out working fine. The red finish is really cool and high quality. It's small enough to become your everyday carry, and bright enough to become your "go to" flash light. Unless your spotting deer from 100 miles away, this is all you need. The balance between beam and flood lighting is pretty much perfect in my opinion. It doesn't light up the whole room, but it's not like a lazar either. I've been using these lights for years and only need to replace them because I lose them. The push button switch on the back is brilliant. You can pull it from your pocket and turn it on with one hand. If you just press gently, the light will come on, but then turn off as soon as you release. If you press harder until it clicks, the light will stay on until you press hard again. This is the perfect flashlight!

I bought the black version of this flashlight 3.5 years ago, and it remained on my keychain ever since. It was used on an almost daily basis. However, the light finally gave up and would not turn on (yes, I checked to make sure it wasn't just a dead battery). So, not wanting to go without this trusty, efficient, powerful, and small light - I ordered a new one. I got the red one since it was the least expensive version offered last week, and it and was the only one with Prime shipping at the time. I am noticing that the red color makes it easier to find my keys since it stands out more than the black one did, and the red has a nice finish to it. I had forgotten how nicely the new threads turn with the light oil and fresh rubber o-rings that come with it (as opposed to my old one that gives a good "squeak" when unscrewing the battery compartment after 3.5 years of loyal service). This new one at 45 lumens seems brighter than the old one. It is also nice to find a name-brand battery included with the flashlight - an extra bonus. The clip from my old, black flashlight fit perfectly on the new, red one (see picture). This was great since I had modified the original clip by drilling a tiny hole near the top of it to accommodate a small keyring so I could attach it to my keychain. The new clip from the red flashlight is now stored on the old light - yes, I am not throwing the old one away quite yet. You can see from the other reviews that this is a fine product. I highly recommend it.

I prefer streamlight as a brand. Tried Olight and it does have its benefits, but with my experience, streamlight has good customer service and the services they offer for repair have been more than fair. Olight and Streamlight are both manufactured in China, it's just that Streamlight is based in the US. So realistically, that shouldn't matter. My biggest complaint with this version of the microstream is probably that it only has one level of brightness. I have the rechargeable version and I prefer having the two options of a dimmable light and bright. Unfortunately, with my EDC holster I have, when I take the rechargeable microstream out, it pulls down the cover that hides the charging port whereas this version of the microstream doesn't which eliminates that issue. Overal, I highly recommend the microstream it's a great flashlight for EDC.

I ordered this light in February, I have had it for about a month now works amazingly. A perfect size for any size pocket, and the clip is very strong as well. I use this light every day at work and home. I am going to order one for my wife and son as well. The battery lasts too, I put the included battery in when I received it a month ago and with daily use its still going strong with no noticeable dimming in the light beam. As far as the construction... It is phenomenal! While at work I was moving skids with the forklift, getting off to straighten a load I was unaware that my stream light fell to the ground. As I finished moving skids I noticed my light laying on the pavement right in the path of the forklift tires, I realized that I had run it over about 3 times. Feeling a bit dumb for not noticing it earlier I picked it up expecting the worst. However upon retrieving the light most all of the damage was superficial, the turned on and off just as it had before. The lens didn't have a scratch, and even the pocket clip was still ok.

It's bright enough. I especially like the clip. You can use it hands-free by clipping this to the brim of a baseball hat!

You don't realize how often you'll use one of these sized lights until you have it on you all the time. The Streamlight lights are durable, and while they'll show finish wear, they continue to function without issue, putting out bright light when you need it. I would recommend that you pick up a pack of lithium AAA batteries for longer run time and no leaks. Energizer has some great batteries for this application. The red color on option makes it easy to find if you drop on the ground, but the black has it's place as well.

This flashlight was purchased for my brother, but it's identical to the one I carry every day. I carry it because it's rugged, so tiny it doesn't get in the way, and gives an incredible amount of light from a single AAA battery. It's exactly what I want - simple controls, no strobe or adjustable brightness to fool with, just bright. I recommended it to my brother, and I would recommend it to anyone needing a small, simple light.

Sobre o produto em si não tem o que falar, ótimo acabamento e desempenha bem ao que se destina. Só o preço que é o ponto fraco, com o mesmo valor consegue-se algo bem superior em funções e potencia com qualidade similar.

La Streamlight MicroStream es una lámpara pequeña y potente, su diseño la hace atractiva a la vista y cuenta con dos características que la hacen útil. La primera característica es que se enciende con un botón en la parte trasera de la lámpara, este botón evita que se active accidentalmente. La segunda característica es el "clip" que permite sujetar la lámpara de dos formas: una puede ser sujeta como una pluma, o bien, sujetarla de manera inversa y utilizarla en la visera de una gorra permitiendo tener las manos libres y realizar cualquier tarea. Además es ligera y potente a la vez.

He tenido diferentes linternas, me resulta útil que tengan diferentes intensidades pero, está es perfecta para mí gusto, enciendes y apagas, punto. Usa una pila AAA y tiene clip para la bolsa del pantalón. Todo eso es lo que buscaba y además cuenta con una buena iluminación.
