We chose this item because of the good reviews. I’m not certain where the disconnect is-perhaps we got a defective one, but this opener was worthless. I was unable to squeeze it hard enough to get the blade in the can. I had to get my husband to do it for me. Once he did, neither he nor I could turn it to open the can. Disappointing.

So often these tools stop working after a short period and that just isn't the case with this product. Just as efficient today as the day I got them (maybe about a year!)

The first time I ordered this can opener, it was defective and I was concerned about getting a replacement, but I gave it a shot. When I got the replacement, it worked beautifully right away. I guess the first one was a fluke. Thanks to Amazon's great replacement policy, I now have an excellent can opener that I hope will work for years to come. Thank you Amazon!

This was the worst opener I have ever used. It wouldn't cut the can the whole way thru. It also shredded the label on the can and the paper got inside the food. I had multiple people try it and had the same problems. Don't waste your money on this opener.

Has worked well so far. Good price, arrived on time. Nice product, easy on the hands.

Worked great but fell apart into 2 pieces in less than 5 months. Scrap metal is all its worth.

We would give this can opener zero stars if we could! It lasted us (way) less than a year and we ended up just throwing it away. It is hard to turn, doesn't hold onto the can, and it leaves unopened parts on the can! Save yourself time, money, and energy and do NOT buy this.

Bad claim as “stainless “ . I used it once and the gears and screws started to rust after washing.👎
