ORTO PARISI Terroni Parfum 50 ml

One of the best I have had

Please note that since I work in Italy, I bought this from the Italian Amazon site, so it will not appear here as Verified Purchase. The Orto Parisi scents in 50ml bottles generally work out slightly better value than the Nasomatto 30ml bottles, though all made by the same guy. This is the second Orto Parisi I have tried after Megamare. The smoky scent of Terroni may not appeal to everyone, so I would strongly advise to buy a sample before splashing out. I quite like it and it lasts a very long time. However, maybe it should carry a warning, as it is amazingly powerful! :-) If you use those average EDTs where you have to use at least 5 sprays to get decent longevity, you should start off with just 1 spray with this. It really is that strong! More than 2 sprays and you may not be very popular in the office. Though I think it's more of an evening sort of scent.

Became my favorite and it's genuine perfume, it's the best perfume by far

Terroni is really good. The first spray is dark and smoky, like warm earth and ash. It does not smell clean or sweet and it is not trying to be pleasant. It feels raw and grounded, almost rough, but in a way that makes sense. After some time it calms down and becomes warmer. The smoke stays, but it feels closer to the skin and more natural, like the heat left in the ground after a fire. It has a serious, heavy feeling to it and it lasts well without being loud. This is not a fragrance to impress people or get compliments from everyone. It feels more personal. If you like dark, earthy scents that feel honest and strong, Terroni is really good.
