I absolutely love this book. It’s so comprehensive, covering every aspect of your garden that should be considered as part of the planning process; right through to how to build, plant, develop each component. Written in a manner that anyone can understand, with lots of pictures to refer to.Highly recommend it. It’s given me the confidence to attempt it on my own, without the expense of professionals

I am trying to turn my wilderness into a cosy productive and relaxing interesting are. Book has lots of practical suggestions and instructions. Each section covers something different. Doesn’t cover everything but a good place to start

I must commend Mr Frost for this brilliant book. Having recently bought my forever garden (the house attached came free!) I’ve been looking for a good garden design book as I wanted to do this garden all myself. There’s plenty around but this one stands out for me This book covers everything you could possibly need from the foundations including putting up garden walls, arbours and fences to water features and the end joy of choosing plants. I particularly loved the drawings and specifically how to create steps and tiers as my garden slopes to the side and rear. I really, really feel I can tackle even some of the bigger structal changes that I’d previously thought I’d have to pay a builder or gardener to do ( and I’m a mature woman in her 50’s)

Would recommend to those new and experienced at gardening the pictures are clear and with great gardening tips and instructions to follow.
