Technolamp LED 6w A19 Light Bulb, 600lm with Motion Sensor

a cool idea, but I can't really find a lamp where it will work. The motion sensor "sees" out the top of the bulb, so it would have to be an overhead or gooseneck lamp to see anything. maybe a desk light would be low enough too. beyond the motion part, you would have to leave the lamp on all the time as well, or it won't turn on of course. That means you can't turn it off when you are done, or when you want the room dark at night.all in all, maybe it would work great for a hall light or garage light?guess that's why it's marked down. neat idea that seems useful, but isn't really.

Not very bright but works as stated

It works perfectly. The light has a soft feeling and is not harsh.

love it for the overhead light at the top of the stairs, where you have to get there in the dark to reach the light switch. motion activated, doesn't stay on for long (like some--10 minutes?? too long!) good for getting up at night, etc. when you just need not to stumble into anything on your way to the bathroom or check on something. lights the way 'til you're done. also great for areas where your hands are usually full like bringing in groceries from garage, etc. very helpful.
