Great medium sized food processor
I recently received this food processor and have already had the opportunity to use it several times. It's easy to use, cleans up in the dishwasher, and does a nice even job of chopping.I would like to address some of the complaints I've read here in the comments.First, the bowl and lid attach very similarly to all Kitchenaid food processors. I get that it might be different than how others work, and might be tricky if you aren't familiar with it, but one you understand how it works, it's easy. I've had no problems at all getting the bowl and lid to lock into place and to release. Remember -- don't force it! If it's difficult you're doing something slightly off. With regards to the complaints about sturdiness and quality -- no, this is the not same quality as my big Kitchenaid food processor that I bought in about 1985, (which still works, btw, but I can't get a new bowl!). However, I paid somewhere in the range of $350- $400 for that one back in 1985! So, no, I don't expect this food processor to be as heavy duty as the old one. Still, the motor runs smoothely, the base has some weight to it, and it works just fine! I don't expect it will last 40 years like the last one, but for the price, that's ok.I almost didn't buy this one based on some of the reviews. I'm glad I took the chance and tried it. It's a great little machine, works well, and doesn't take up too much room on my counter.

great little product!
I bought this to use in my RV as its small size is easy to stow. Chops quickly and evenly so does the job. I appreciate that it's 5 cups instead of three cups, so I can chop more. They accomplish this with a taller bin. I worried that the tall size would affect chopping efficiency, but it's not an issue. It works so well, I use it at home. Why use this over my full size food processor? With my big unit, all the bowls, lids, and blades fill up my dishwasher, while the parts from this only take up a small space in the dishwasher drawer. Some notes about how this works: You twist on the bowl, drop in the spindle, slip the blade over the spindle, then twist on the lid. A lever on the side is marked "chop" and "pulse" but it's actually low speed/high speed. To activate, you press a tab on top of the handle; hold to spin, tap to pulse. You get two processing attachments which fit over the spindle: a metal cutting blade and a plastic disk (used for emulsifying stuff like salad dressings. It works well.) There's a slot at the base where you can wrap the cord in a tidy way. Overall, a great product.

You Need It!
It’s a great little machine. Better than the chopper cup that attaches to my hand blender. There’s a little bit of a learning curve, with the twist and snap, of the work bowl and the cover, but I got it. Perfect for one large onion and a few garlic cloves. Definitely perfect for making Pico de Gallo! Love this! Very low noise. Good value for the time saved. More power than those chopper cup attachments.

Best food chopper!
This is the best food chopper! It’s compact and super easy to use. Works perfectly and efficiently. I highly recommend this product and am so happy I bought it. I donated the large expensive food processor and replaced it with this chopper. Best decision!

Great for Quick Chops
I love the compact size of this 5-cup food processor—perfect for small kitchens. The thumb-activated lid makes it super easy to use. It doesn’t chop as finely as I’d like, but for quick prep jobs, it gets the job done. Overall, a solid little helper

My Favorite Kitchen Appliance
I have had this device for over 2 years now, and I use it much more frequently (every other day) than my full size food processor (Cusinart). Great for quick jobs (such as chopping nuts, dicing an onion, making the pork filling for dumplings, making salsa, etc). Incredibly easy to clean (bowl, lid, and blade go into dishwasher) and the rechargeable battery has kept its charge for an incredible length of time (and tasks). I love the fact that it does not need to be plugged into an electrical outlet to work that I can move and use it almost everywhere (picnics, tailgate parties)
