It’s rubber,hard rubber If you going to follow the instructions everything is going to be ok(after you attached this rubber put pressure for 10 min to be sure its fixed good)Dont forget that what you see is the maximum length.

Q: Will this adhere to heels with a suede bottom? I’m looking for something that will help give better grip on hard surfaces

The Shoeskin sole protector was designed to adhere to leather soles. They will stick to suede, but the life may be shorter than standard. Please try them and confirm that they still have good adhesion after the first or second use.

Great question! Thank you for asking! Yes, the sole protectors come in 4" X 4" squares so that you can cut to fit the shape of any shoe. Simply follow the directions included in the packaging.

Q: Does anyone live in a hot climate? I’ve read these come off with heat, leaving residue everywhere? What’s your experience walking on hot pavement?

I live in Texas and have used the product for several months. I have had no residue issue. The product works as expected (keeps scuff marks off my floor). I wear the protected shoes daily for work. My wife is happy. I’m happy. I recommend this product.
