VED SANSKRIT & HINDI

Incomplete bookset.This isn't the full set of Vedas. It only has the samhitas of the four Vedas in four books and that too incomplete. So if you are looking for the brahmanas, aryanakas and upanishads you won't get it here. Even the samhitas of rigveda and atharvaveda are incomplete. Those of samaveda and yajurveda seem complete. But those of rigveda and atharvaveda are only the first volume. The rigveda samhita has 10 mandals or chapters. The book here has only the first two. The atharvaveda book two is the first volume of the atharvaveda samhita. Don't fall for the picture showing thick books. In reality the books are very thin. This isn't even 20% of the entire Vedic literature. Also inside the descriptions of the Sanskrit shlokas are just one or a few lines of hindi text, so very little detail in there.

I returned it because in case of Rigveda it’s not Hindi translated. Author tried to give his interpretation on shlokas in Hindi which I don’t think is correct. I was looking for original vedas translated into Hindi and not misinterpreted version. Rest three vedas are good with proper binding, readable font.

All good. Only thing, price 2500/- which is bit on higher side. Delivery, packaging etc was good.

Excellent condition of Veda books. Good packing. Delivery in time. However, the font of books can be made two sizes larger. This will increase the volume of the books, but it will enhance reading comfort.
