Bought for a space obsessed boyfriend. It's so cute and a really nice surprise when you put the boiling water on. Nice accurate info. Great for teachers etc. Might even get one for myself!

Lovely mug that works really well. Unfortunately our was not perfect as were is a gap in the glaze at the base of the handle. £15.95 is quite expensive for a mug so I would have expected the quality to have been checked before sale. As the product was a gift I did not have time to return the item and reorder so I have kept the faulty product, I assume I could have exchanged it if I had time.

This was a birthday present for a space fanatic, and he was delighted with it for the first couple of weeks. But then the mug accidentally got mixed up with others and put in the dishwasher. It really doesn't survive that at all - the pattern completely comes away, and the mug is entirely and irretrievably ruined. As it was a present, I had to re-order.Whilst I appreciate that it does say on the base "Do not machine wash", this mug is by far the most non-robust heat changing mug in our household's extensive collection of such things. Most other heat-changing mugs survive the odd trip in the dishwasher, with just a bit of fading on the least robust, and to be honest that is what I was expecting here too. This one looks like it just has a transfer of some sort on it, and it is not really even waterproof. So if there is any danger of you accidentally dishwashing this mug, it's definitely not for you.It would be lovely if the makers researched the many other companies that offer custom patterning of robust dishwasher-safe heat changing mugs and used them to manufacture this design instead of using transfers.

I got this for an astronomer, and he doesn't seem to like it as much as the constellations mug, also from Unemployed Philosophers Guild, but I think it's more interesting and better looking.

Got this for a gift for a sibling for Christmas. Checked it out to make sure it wasn't broken or anything and it looked awesome. Cannot wait for them to check it out when they get it and see the mug change!

Schöne Tasse und ein schönes Gadget. Nur ein Hinweis: Die Tasse ist nicht spülmaschinenfest und daher eher für praktisch veranlagte Physiker geeignet. Stört mich nicht, weil es einen unübersehbaren Warnhinweis gibt, den man schon beim Auspacken findet.
