QUICKFIX DC PLUGS: Don't throw away your original power adapter just because the dc connector or wire near the connector has damaged. This product is designed to repair those faulty pin or cable adapters. First look out for physical damage. Sometime damage to internal wires appears as a bulge in cable. If beeping sound coming from inside power brick, it could be sign of internal wire short circuit. Other symptom of broken wire is that charging light only turns on when you move plug cable in a certain direction. Before replacing the connector make sure the connector fits into your input device. Make sure you know the correct size of your old adapter. Most power adapters have a large choke mounted near the connector designed to stop the RF interference passing through the cable. If choke is too close to the connector you can cut it off. This will not affect the normal operation. Check the wires of the old plug cable to make sure you get the polarity right.
