Charger and extra battery pack enables the work to go on
I like having the extra battery and charger so that when the battery runs down on my Air Mouse I can switch out the battery pack and continue working. The battery that came with the charger does not seem to have anywhere close to as long a life as the one that came originally with the Air Mouse, but it certainly lasts long enough for the other to charge. I really like that the blue light on the charging stand turns off when the battery pack has charged so that I know it's ready. And being able to chain the Air Mouse cradle through the charging stand saves an outlet.

Great for those who don't charge the mouse
We use this in our conference rooms as it is fairly frequent that the mouse is not returned to it's charging dock. This allows you to quickly swap to a spare battery so the meeting is not compromised.
